I agree with Sheel and I was thinking along the same lines as well....

I was actually looking forward to a massive breakfast at Keventers, some sumptious streetside momos, some sightseeing, photo-ops, a walk in the mall area and few mini rides to other places of interest...

I'm up for a 4 day trip as well (Either 8th-11th or 7th-10th)

I had a similar problem with my 220 Fi, luckily I too discovered the problem whilst parking. There's a nut on the inside that holds the bar to it's slot, they'll probably tighten it really well so that it doesn't come loose again or they might replace the whole set if there's an actual defect with the casting of the parts...

Guys, though I would be happy for a 4-day trip, but it would be better to put a '?' mark there. Managing 2-3 days leave would be a big problem for the working guys I think. So, again, we need to discuss this once.

According to me,
Few things
1.This is a G2G so,let it be limited to 3 days....if it had been a long trip,it would have been different.So,lets take up some challenges and lets infer how we end.Biking is an adventure lets live it.
Day1-Kolkata to Siliguri approximately 600kms in a day,many tourers does it,why cant we??? we need to trust ourselves.(5.00am to 7.00pm,we would be in,doesnt matter how slow we ride )
Day2-G2G day,Ride to Kalimpong or the Dooars,with the Shillong Xbhpians,photoshoot,eating,singing,dancing and all
Day3-Siliguri to Kolkata,repeating the stint of Day1.....mind it,its really cool.
2.Xbhpians from Shillong,Meghalaya,Nepal and Sikkim.........pls arrange accordingly brothers
3.Expenses per head,should be planned accordingly,I somehow smell 2 full tanks of fuel thats 1400bucks for me ,fooding and lodging,another 500-600 bucks.......not more,bcoz this would be shared.
4.Please attend the G2G,all these needs finalised and your heartfelt cooperation.

Brothers,even I had wished for Darjeeling,but situations now over there is far from being ambient.It has to be dropped to avoid any untoward incidences amid a peaceful biking journey.

Dates,come up brothers,it should be everyone's convenience
8th,9th and 10th are good dates to go by for me.........but starting on a Mahalaya morning........bangali babu ra,apnara comfortable toh,Mahalaya sunte sunte bike chalanotey ???? By the way,can anyone confirm when is Mahalaya 7th or 8th ???If its 7th then I would leave home with no regrets on 8th !!!!!!

What if its a G2G and a small ride as well? Its just a matter of 1 day. One.(How much would one day cost? think about it)
24hours=you can enjoy and de-stress from the ride & get yourself prepared fro next(4th) riding day.

i understand its disheartening bro but if some guys cant make it for 4 days we should cut it down to 3 day..i think if we are moving out of kolkata as a team we should be coming back as a team..everyone together..
