In case everyone is starting the next day early(say before 8am), I would join you guys at Dalkola(Purnea more/W.B-Bihar border),on 1st day & stay at Siliguri.

Else I would ride from my home to Siliguri the next day(i.e. the 2nd day) & carry on with you guys.

It would best if you'd join us on the way, because if want to make it to Gangtok early enough to enjoy it a little before settling down for the day, we'll probably have to leave before 8 a.m.

Besides it will be nice for all of us to spend a chilled out evening/ night in Siliguri together before moving on early next day...

Buddy, we have to take precautions and well informed of the situation in Kokrajhar and Assam due to the frequent Bandhs these days. Keep check on this important issue else you might just be stuck in one place during the journey. Perhaps find a plan B if such situation arises.

Well Conrad and Devilboy we need to take practical decisions to make this G2G trouble free and a safe one.If there are issues on your way here,please consider alternate and safer routes.

Take the safest route,even if that means traveling through Mountains,but avoid rowdy humans at all costs.

On the Kolkata side,more than half of our members are keeping silent,I smell difference of opinion over Day2...........we on our side have to fix the G2G ride spot too.

But we are gonna overcome everything.........lets rock

BTW, I have alread finsihed with the map from Byrnihat to Kokrajhar. looks like we might have to cover longer distance that the guys from Kolkatta to reach Silliguri. Shillong to Guwahati itself will take more or less 3 hours and its not advisable to ride at night through the toubled areas of Assam. Is there any other route other than passing by Kokrajhar to reach Silliguri?
