Guys, please wear more than enough riding gears. Last year I too had two accidents in Kolkata. I was saved only because I was wearing enough riding gears. I know it's difficult to wear the gears always. But please wear all of them always (even though your friends laugh at you). Rest is destiny.
Sad but true..........wearing ridings gears is so essential.........i too had a nasty road rash last week when a rickshaw pulled in on the road out of nowhere,,,,luck was that i wasn't speeding and had my gears on......i am still in shock

            • ‎.........My brave friend Jai("Every Man Dies, But Not Every Man Lives..." - 'Bubba' Blackwell),the world was not enough for you.Find peace and happiness on the otherside brother, you will now live forever in my heart and in the heavens. It feels awkward now that I was the last person you spoke to..........I don't know how many sleepless nights you have left for me while you would be resting in peace..................

Neither do I have the courage to step out of my house now nor getting on my bike, totally locked myself up in a room...........

I am not mourning,I am trying to come to terms with the fact of accepting the reality, the same road, the same ditch I crossed a few of minutes ago, that night........it could have been me.The lovely face that I talked to before his last ride...........wont talk anymore..........

Time is being very harsh with me.........
"I'm so tired of being here
Suppressed by all my childish fears
And if you have to leave
I wish that you would just leave
'Cause your presence still lingers here
And it won't leave me alone

These wounds won't seem to heal
This pain is just too real
There's just too much that time cannot erase"

God let your will be done, but guide me with your light in my darkest hours..........

              • Rest in Peace Jai. And May God Be with Your Family in this moment of immense Sadness & Sorrow. You are greatly missed as we were supposed to meet in the near future. But, it was not to be. And God Bless You All, including his friend and fellow bikers.

                    • Am totally and absolutely shocked.....can't believe that something so tragic has happened to Jai.

I had happened to meet him after ages, last Sunday in front of Azad Hind Dhaba, and after a hand-shake, we had planned to catch up.

Today I learnt of this disastrous news from a common friend of ours, Sheel.

My thoughts go out to his family during this huge loss.

                        • A really sad news, for the faults of the f*****g PWD useless contractors one more biker brother died.

                          • This is unbelievable. It seems we humans have absolutely no control over what happens to us the next moment.

The saddest part is the fact this is due to the negligent contractors and government of our great country. Same case everywhere!

It is unfortunate that I have to repeat this once again for one of ours - R.I.P/

                            • Shocking news this. Though I did not know Jai, I couldn't stop tears from rolling down after reading this.

May his soul rest in peace.
May God give his wife & family, the courage to bear the tragic loss.

It is disheartening to lose someone on the roads, for no fault of their's.

Kolkata xBhpians, please do whatever you can to lend support to Jai's family.
