have the same question dude. People change clutch plates at around 20k kms interval. Are you sure your clutch plates are gone? What are your problems? Please share.

i still find it weird that your clutch plate got burnt. This happens only if you don't change oil in the right time and have used oil of improper grade, etc. However, worn down clutch plates would mean gear slips, error in gear shifts, false kick during kick starting, poor mileage, etc. Do you have all these issues?

                    +1 Raneet..

My clutch plates got changed at 17.2K and i felt it to be early....3.5K is unbelievable...and his bike's behaviour doesn't really indicate a worn out clutch plate..can a oil change help..

exactly that's what i'm saying... maybe engine oil, maybe spark plugs, maybe alignment or the front disc which might have got jammed(due to the accident he was speaking of) i'm not sure buddy until i see his bike for myself... maybe the chain sprocket also, which if not lubed and cleaned in time can get worn out at the odo mark he is saying or even before that... now only the user can tell us about his maintainance interval and checks...

I would suggest you to take it to Probiking SVC as soon as possible, Mandeep ahs already forwarded ypu the contacts so use it and find out what they have to say.Probiking mechs would understand the blues of your Dtsi better than anyone else.

Loss in pick-up may occur due to many reasons:
                        1.worn out clutch plates
                        2.clogged air-filter
3.dirt in carburetor or jet clogging
4.low engine oil level or burnt out engine oil
                        5.fouled spark plugs.
                        6.fused spark plug cap.
                        7.worn out chain-sprocket
8.Bad timing chain and valve timing
                        9.Worn out piston and o-rings.

But from your definition and the assumptions of those mechs I think clutch plates are goner,or someone might have replaced the original ones with worn-out ones during previous services.

However my suggestion still stands at getting your bike done at the PBK SVC first.

Bhai I called up the number which mandeep provided me bt the told that they only service the bikes above 200cc.

Plz suggest me any other option.

Ya i had an accident in Dec 26th and their was a problem in tank and scratches in disc. i solved the tank problem from wellington and the disc scratch was not verry harmful at that time but now i can find a bend in the disc !!! i can understand about this problem.

But about clutch plates i cannot understand the problem.
when i am riding in low speed like 25-35 then its quite ok but whin i am trying to increase speed then its making a high sound and not accelerating very less speed. havent noticed about the mileage,so cant say... the front wheel is not jammed... Changed engine oil (motul 5100) some days back in the day of India Pakistan match.....

Cannot say anything about the spark plug and all because i'm not that educated about it !!!

                          So guys please help....

Now the man in question, builds bikes from scratch and repairs them without complaint but is a bit lazy in his services. And I know he does not gives any bullshit reason as to why the performance is failing,he gives the correct reason and rectifies it wonderfully while being economical.Opinions may vary but I never question his actions as his knowledge is first hand.

I thought PBK SVC would help,my cousin gets his Wind 125 done there.Anyway, it is my cousin and his Kawasaki that has got the rapo with PBK SVC.
