Please follow the posts, my good friends are in the making of a decision to go to Bethuadahari reserve on the 26th, you can join in but Diamond Harbour not now, we come up with it later.

On 26th we are planning to go for a ride to the Bethuadahary forest reserve.
It is a very nice place in wake of monsoons, the experience would be refreshing.......Diamond Harbour is just by our city, we can do it anyday anytime.I am a frequent traveller to Diamond Harbour.

Ride Itienrary for Bethuadahary Forest Reserve.26th June 2011.

I am updating the ride plan for the Bethuadahary ride.

This plans contain the possible timings and route map of the ride along with the current status of the plan.

Here is the route map:


Hence, I would suggest that a meet-in spot at near the Airport 2.5 Number(arai nombor gate) gate would be likely.We can meet at the place where the Belghoria expressway routes off leftways from the NH34 or Jessore road.

Then we can follow NH34 straight up through Barasat till we reach Bethuadahary.Our biker buddy On-wheels aka Bappaditya knows this route of his locality like the palm of his hand.He might join us and his presence would have us less worried about the route.

Next is when we should be meeting up and return.

My experience tells that :

1.Meet-in: The meet in time is 5am on 26th June 2011 near the junction of Belghoria expressway and NH34 in the vicinity of Airport.

2.Move-out: The move-out time should be around 5.20am,keeping in mind all possible members who would join us,we would be starting the journey now.

3.Ride time: This place is really close, Google maps suggested the route length is off 132kms to be accurate and would require only one and half hours to reach the destination........no doubt we would reach faster

4.Reach home time: We start early we arrive fast, then we will have three or four hours to breakfast and laze around clicking our cameras.After that we have to ride back.So even after spending enough time we would be able to be back by 1am before lunch hour.

So this is the tentative plan...........please post opinions about it.

3.Srikanth Narayan- Karizma 225
4.Satyajit RC- Karizma ZMR

excellent effort MACH would also like to add a bit, just went through my mind, given the weather condition, do carry something handy incase it pours... damn... hope i could join you guys...

This supercharger is not crank driven.

Electronic compressor with inter-cooling system on the engine head........we can talk more about this among ourselves

yeah, sure! anytime!

forced induction system(super-charger and turbo) always reduces the engine load. it is an external force that pushes the engine to reach higher RPM without putting the stress actually on the engine. Hence with same throttle position you can ride at higher RPMs compared to stock...

Bike will be turbo and supercharged?
I guess RPM is related to the stress to the engine casing as well as engine.
I am not talking about the throttle input here,but talking about RPM,
For a layman,when we rip a bike a lot the engine life decreases isnt it?because we are operating it at its extreme condition.
The more the revs are the more vibes will be produced and more combustion of fuel will take place and if the cooling system isnt fast enough to cool down the engine oil will result in extremely heated engine which will in turn reduce the life of the engine as well as of the engine oil.

Supercharged vehicles have external cooling system installed in them to cope with the excessive heat produced.

Please drop the topic for God's sake.....I am not in favour of discussing the tech here.
Generally complete supercharging and turbocharging system are incomplete without inter-cooler system and engine cooling systems.....and it is so even in a bike's case.That's all I have to say.

Please, not a word more on this brother.
