Also madbulls does a briyani run to Ambur, but i have no details about it. That would also be a good option as the road to there is very good!

@ ALL: has anyone heard of this place called pahzyaseevaram? I've been there once. 2/12 hours from chennai. I took the longest possible route. this was during a Fox hunt, a Radio direction finding event.it is 15 kms from kanchipuram. or why not kancipuram itself? Atleast we would get to meet ram at his hometown!

Raghav, Pazhyaseevaram is located between Chengalpet & Kanchipuram. Its famous for Perumal Temple & placed on mound.

heard of that place guess we have relatives there. kanchipuram.... did many times right from TVS 50 to splendor to victor Glx and GS also
my native.

I was just thinking that the ride down the ECR might be good. But I'm game anywhere man!! As long as the roads are good and hassle-free!

If you guys wont mind - Why not a GTG in the evening? May be like a Dinner GTG / Dhabha GTG. Last we had one when veteran tourer PraveenKM was in town.

Guys, There is a place called Iyyengar-Kulam near kanchipuram, where the "RUN" film & some other tamil films shooting took place...The place will be good & silent...If you make to kpm, you can just visit this along with Pazhyaseevaram.

I see an interesting suggestion.. Ride for food (Ambur biriyani)? Get to know how many after eating ran to loo leaving their bikes alone..

.......and I thought you didn't like the ECR.....!! But I'm game guys, I'm ab-a-so-lu-te-ly fed up of sitting at home!! Let's meet up for an evening g2g to discuss horsley hills!!

Chief! What say we meet for a dinner g2g on Thursday or Friday night AND go for a ride on Sunday? That way we get to chat about the upcoming trip at leisure (btw, where's the "usual" place??) AND then we get to ride on Sunday, which if we decide to Ambur for example, will be a good practice run (abt 175km I think) and also a chance for the noobs (myself included ) to get a feel for riding in formation as a group??

Usual places - Old - Cozee @ Bessy beach; Recent times - CTC, Nandambakkam. I'll be there for the meets, but not for any ride even if its just 50 Kms.
