Just a word; try to meet & leave the place ASAP as there's a police booth nearby the signal & little insufficient parking place; also most vehicles will be jumping the signal (as usual) & there will be traffic too.

Instead there's a K.V. school (after Essar fuel station) much before the Thirumangalam signal (after Koyambedu junction) & you can find place for parking.

My vote: Retteri Signal.

Also one question - Is it NH5 or a diversion towards Periyapalayam after Redhills?

^ precisely my point ganesh. The signal is by far the most hardest place to stop, wait and meetup with other riders. A question, This Essar Bunk is when you turn left at the water tank signal right?

As 3 of us (you, me and raghav) are ok with retteri signal, we could meet up there at 0545. I hope raghav wouldn't mind gettin to retteri a bit early and ride at a slow pace until the others catch up

As for the others, let thirumangalam, KV School be the meetup point and let them catch up with us (starting from there at 0600).

Is this ok?

Also i thought that catching up with 3 slow riders would be easier than catching up with 1 for the rest.

In my day we referred to this junction as the 'Ambattur Estate' road. Only problem with this location is that I still have to ride about 30kms to reach it!

Anyway, I'll aim to be there by 6 am Sunday!

@ Ganesh Ravi and Aargee: You guys plan offline and meet up at desired location and let me know. This is just to avoid any confusion over the meeting place to others.
