I did see your post & Im kicking myself for not wearing the Knee Guards though i have one all the time tied up on the saddlebags. I guess its high time i cultivate the habit. Im sure for what ever rides i do, It would be All Gears All The Time!

Glad you are safe & sound now. Do test out the Bullet 500 occasionally & give company to Senthildsk for the Point Calimere ride

Is the 51000 you spent on the Ninja reimbursable by the Insurance guys? I wish they will.


By the way, any one knows when Bhavishya is sending out the gear? Im awaiting a Riding Pant from him.

My friend got his work permit et all cleared. he packed up and flew off to US thru 2 more stops, only to be stopped US Immigration. They came to a conclusion this guy is planning to settle off and help his amigo's.

they are trying to enforce, what they cant do at their state borders...

Really, you always set a good example for safe riding with gear! I quietly follow the riding gear thread often and all your posts there surely would have made lots of guys aware of the importance of gears!!

By the way, any one knows when Bhavishya is sending out the gear? Im awaiting a Riding Pant from him.

What I last heard from him is, stocks are expected on October 20.

My friend, I could afford a nice bike because I have an approx 20 year head start on you professionally - absolutely no other reason. I'm sure that when you're my age you'll have a garage full of your dream vehicles!

Incidentally, I started my career with a grand salary of Rs.700 pm 22 years ago. That was barely enough for my cigarettes and gas, so had to take another part-time evening job for the EMI of my bike!!

Also incidentally, I was born and lived abroad for 15 years, then went again for studies and even now travel regularly on work. Let me assure you that there is no place like home.

When I finished college, 90% of my classmates traveled abroad to study and work while dunces like me stayed behind.

Today more than 75% of those who went abroad are coming back, seeking a better quality of life in their own country for their families - and they're telling me that I was the 'smart' one!! Anyway, that's just my two cents..

I hope you get what you wish for and don't regret it when you do! Lol!

Well, next is a temperature sensor and if i can get my hands on one, a voltmeter. And I am indeed doing groundwork for a face-lift.. I was thinking in shades of silvery grey and metallic black.
