Munnar, Vagamon are part of the Idukku district.

You can do this one Chennai-Pollachi - Valparai -(forest road which has got fresh tarmac recently ) Athirapally falls - Munnar - vagamon - Kottayam - Alapuzzha - and back to Chennai .

You cannot fit in Coorg, Wayanad in this unless you want to start with Coorg and reach Munnar but for that 7 days will not be enough. And it will be a rainy ride in July

Bloody you want to finish entire KL in one single ride!!! That's not possible in 7 days machi

It took me 3 different rides to touch most parts of KL and still a lot is left to be explored!

Please take salt along with you as leeches are famous in KL during the monsoon. We experienced it in the Valpari - Athirapally stretch.

And regarding riding in rain I am sure you will have the experience doing so. Get a proper rain gear so you can remain comfortable while riding in the rains

We have no bad intentions about you, but, as you said it all, bad timing? Understandable. Let's see how far your keep up the above statement. Btw, there been lot of disconnects with regards to road trips in upcoming months. I hope we would pull up the discussion again when there is a GTG next time.

I'm tentative as usual about the ride. Leaves are applied from: August 15 to August 20 (6 Days) - Yet to decide on the ride plan, Not sure of Goa yet.

Avinash, As said - Ditch Coorg / Wayanad - Ride from Pollachi - Valparai - Athirampalli - Munnar - Idukki - Vagamon - Thekkady - Alappuzha - Varkala - Thenmala - Ponmudi - Trivandrum

And July it is going to rain pretty BAD - Get a proper rain coat & plastic cover for covering up the luggage & electronics.
