Chennai Offline G2G Meet - Sunday 12/18/2011

Long time since we all met together. So this time we will do a circuit trip like Aargee suggested earlier. We do many short rides however, we have not done a circuit till now or rather I had not done so far with xbhphians. This would also give opportunity for newbies to be part and get familiar with seniors and group riding ettiquettes.

Chennai - Kanchipuram (Breakfast) - Chengalput - Chennai.

Meeting point: Chennai Trade Center - Entry Gate (Opp. Tea Shop)

Newbies: Those who have riding gears are welcome to join the ride. If not, still invite you to Chennai Trade Center for a short meet (if reached early).

Riding gears:-

Helmet
Gloves
Jacket(If not riding atleast thick denim should do)
Knee guards (Denim pants, if no knee guards)
Shoes

Tank up the previous day to avoid unnecessary delay.

Again there is a news that Tamil Nadu Govt. likely to implement HSRP (High Security Number Plates) to motor vehicles during the first quarter of 2012.

I rode on my P220 from Pune to Chennai on Tuesday. 1250 kms from home to home in 18 hours including the breaks. It was a relaxed ride

I will be moving to Bengaluru on 18th of this month. Bike back from service?

Ya Yuvi I was very excited when I entered the TN border at Hosur and of course to see the vehicles with TN plates all around

In case you can't find chillness in Chennai climate, start searching for meaning of 'cool', 'chill' and 'nice climate' again in Chennai dictionary. To help you out, here is hint -

37 c to 41 c - Freakin Hot (not good to even step out)
30 c to 36 c - Hot (can keep car inside and go by bike to office)
24 c to 29 c - Cool climate ( forget office, stay home or go out for a ride and beer)

PS : I am here for last 15 years now and I am not home boy from Chennai !!!
