      • hi ram, interesting to hear that this year's tristate biker meet planned at chickmagalur home state of mine. i am much interested in looking forward to the meet. some information i would like to share that the place of chickmagalur is a wonderful and full of tea estates with dense forests sorrounded by. dream place to venture by two wheeler. also there is a place called kudremuk once a place of national importance for its iron deposits and now an abandoned one. we can see the abandoned buildings, township area and a beautiful park still showing its charm. it gains sympathy from visitors as it is not maintained now. we can stay there for a cheaper price at night and is worth. feel would have a great fun. looking forward to the trip. thank you.

        • Where are you people living in Chennai? Want to see you all. You are enjoying life amidst work pressure, personal problems, etc.....you are all united by one trait common in all ...that is called BIKING. I am also living in Chennai, though not having super bikes like you ppl, managed to own CBR 150R. Want to really join you all in touring, but afraid of whether i can take all the wear and tear after such long ride. How do you ppl manage to get leaves in first place, ok nod from your parents, family, and how the hell your physique takes all those sore, numbness, pain, sleepless nights.....hats off to your spirits . Afterall what i can do is enjoy reading all your experiences. I am gonna start doing short tours to test my physique first. I love you all for the spirit in you. Whenever i see Pulsar 220, CBR 250, Ninja , R15, GS150R, bullets on road i assume that one of the Xbhpians is only riding the machine and i respect them. Who knows that could be one of you truly.
          Happy riding. Keep the spirit.

They are everywhere .. and most don't own a SBK as yet.. as far as I know, some do while most don't.. It's not the Machine that matters, but the MAN ... regarding leaves, physique etc... if you are keen on it, you'll some how find a way.. if there's none, you'll make one

I didnt wear any kind of riding gears (I don't have one). I was in my t shirt and trax, of course with helmet.

Hi! Nice to see you are having good fun. But not to spoil your mood here. Overtaking all four wheelers are fine, but to ride along with them for a "challenge" as you say is strictly not advised. Its simple physics, you never put up with something bigger than you. You just get punched down right away. Be safe, and to ride on the NH in a "challenging" way without any safety gears cannot be an excuse for you anymore. You own a 150cc thats worth 1.36lacs. I am pretty sure you are priceless compared to it. Bike parts can be replaced, Human parts !? What can i say..!!

Take my word, spend for the safety gears if you are to frequent such trips in the future, they will be your best investment than anything.

Your words are true. Let me take this opportunity to learn from you what are the benefits of Riding Gears ?. I will buy one in near future. I m gonna save my bike for ride in NH only rather than straining her commuting thru city traffic. I took very calculated risks when it comes to challenge...i am aware of various possibilities that may surprise on chasing a bigger one than you. The high and low beam was very handy and of much useful. More than my calculated risks i would say other vehicles behaved properly not type of freak..atlast it was my day..i reached home safely. One single dog crossing the road could have been a nightmare. That's why i thanked God.
Thanks for your advice. I will buy safety gears soon.

Hope you don't mean the Stunts/ Actions literally . Its good to know that you had great time on the highway but its important to know that your Stunts/actions should not pose any danger to other people on the road and off course to yourself. Avoid taking Big vehicles head on for speed, you simply can't win and do invest some money for good riding gears, its for your own safety !!!

                      • We will meet on Saturday Evening.. Nishant also wants to join us. Do bring in the pictures in a USB / SD / CF card so that we can consolidate all & pass it on to others.

I'll be getting my Netbook, but i dont have a CF card reader - who ever has one, do bring the same.

P.S: Get a 8 GB or Higher card / USB / External hard disk to collect the pictures. Thank you.
