Mechanics in chennai for RX 135 upgrade

Hello everyone,

I am a rookie member here and I have owned an RX 135 4s 1998 model for 2 years now. The bike is really awesome but the thing is I dont ride it as often as I used to as I am staying abroad past few months. Anyways the main reason for this post is to get some help from regarding the bike.

I shifted to chennai recently and although its my hometown and all, I dont know it as well as I would like to . I want to convert my bike to a 5speed with an expansion chamber and an RDD cdi as I went and got an HID just out of excitement but I dont mind using the 90/100 that comes with the RDD cdi if its better.

The bike is fitted with a k&n filter and I didnt really 'jet' the carb( not sure if that is the term) but I did loosen the screw on the left side, the small one, by a few turns and the bike roars freely but I am not sure if its the right way to go about .
I stay in the OMR area and I do a few trips around chennai when ever I'm around so getting around wont be too hard.

Hello All... Its been a real long time.. Didnt get much time to be active around here. But now finally have it. Hope you guys are doing great! Looking forward to plan some trips in the coming months. Let know if anyone is crossing Bangalore

5 speed conversion kit these days are not easily available. RDD CDI is not in production and not sure when is the next batch planned. The exhaust chamber is something which is re-engineered according to what one desires. RX series electricals is from 70's era and they will not support DC at all. Even if you make it work, reliability matters. I'd go with normal halogen P43T type holder and H4 headlamp and I'm satisfied.

Long long time.. probably after you sold your Uranium Pulsar. ISG2G is on the cards as of now for the month of August. Check the offline section in this forum we have already started the discussion.

Sick to see how teenagers misuse these bikes for some small joy. I'm totally against those bikers who act irresponsibly and play havoc in our city roads. This is not only a shame on them but has put the genuine biker into hardship. Guys take a note.

Little Mod for yamaha SZR in chennai ?

Hello guys i own a yamaha szr 150 in chennai need a good mechanic who can add the kill switch and a LED buld like the ones in FZS to my bike.anyone know someone who have experience in this mod? any help is appreciated.The Bike is 7 months OLD.
