I don't know if I got the name correct, but I have seen this pic before in this thread. Someone discussed about riding here, I can't remember whether they actually did go there or chose somewhere else to go. But I'm sure its been discussed before.

I was wrong about the name, its not Yelagiri. Its Palamthi Hills and Sriram mentioned that he had been there before and that we even have a ride report of it.

Ezhilkannan, we can't even think of going there at this peak summer. The pic was taken during monsoon I guess, when I had been there recently it was dry and hardly any shade and forget about any shops around for quenching thirst. Also the twisties are very narrow that cyclists will enjoy better. Bikers will have to carefully negotiate as there's not much road width. It's just hardly 3kms long and nothing very exiting. Just my two cents.

I'm not saying we should go there, was just answering his query since he didn't know where it was. If someone does want to go for weekend rides in this heat, I'd suggest just breakfast rides early in the morning, seriously summer is too hot here. Its like Chennai is getting hotter every year. I'd remain shut in my home most of the time during the day

For any weekend ride please avoid it people. It's freaking HOT out there. My entire t-shirt got wet today when i came to home after watching a morning show movie .

Imagine with fully geared on weekend ride.

IMO evening/late evenings g2gs on weekends till Agni Natchatiram ends. Will be starting by 4th may(13:00 hr) to 28th may(20:15hr).

I've been using a friend's Givi top box for the last few rides. Costs about 20k in Malaysia. There is an Indian version for about Rs.3k but there is world of difference in the build quality.

RD 350 in Chennai

As my next venture, I'm on to RD 350. But the price in Chennai seems to hit 100k. Well I cannot afford that much. Anyone know off any RD in Chennai that I could affored? 30k may be. Well I could get it and restore it slowly but I cannot spent 100k in one go.

All internet search leads to www.olx.in which says 100k and 200k. That bothers me.
