Hi,

Does anyone has a idea about which is the best SUZUKI showroom in Chennai? I want to buy GIXXER but could not close out on any one showroom.

I heard that ABT in Nandanam is the largest with the largest bike selection. Is it true?

I just don't want to get ripped off in terms of price, service and accessories cost.

Not sure about ABT, but the folks at SMK Suzuki, Porur are pretty reasonable. And always check for the current ex-showroom prices from the website. There's nothing to be afraid of getting ripped off of.

Interstate Ride - A discussion

This meet is for tees distribution, route clarifications, open Q&A session and a check to preparedness.

Date - Sept 21st Sunday
Time - 8:30 PM - 9:30 PM
Venue - McDonald's on OMR

I request each of the ISG2G participant to be present that day. If you are not available, kindly talk to someone who could take the Tee on your behalf.
Please be on time so that it helps to windup soon and go home.

Really sorry cannot be at this time as I've to leave to Bangalore by 3:00 AM 22 Monday as I'll have to be deprived of my 4 hours sleep too. Any other alternatives please?

The meeting point of the ride would be at Crescent college(B.S. Abdur Rahman university) . We would be segregating into 3 groups and the first group would leave by 5 AM sharp . So make it a point to reach the start up point by 4.50 AM at least . The whole group cannot lose time waiting for people ,so if you're reaching late and you don't find the lot ,catch up to us . You have the route map with you. Lead and sweep details would be mentioned during start up . some points to be kept in mind through out the ride .
1.Follow the Lead at all times.
2.Maintain the same position through out the ride from where you start .
3.Follow group riding etiquettes and pass on the hand and leg signals through out the group .
4. Have your headlight switched on at all times .
5.If you need a stop come out of the group showing a signal to the guy behind you and slow down , the sweep would take care of the rest .
6.Please do not slow down the group . If you're planning to ride very slow or take unnecessary stops the group would not wait as we have to reach the destination on time .
7. Stick to your allotted group at all time. Its safer and better to ride as a group helping each other out .


The Tee is to be worn on the second day . So please do not wear it on the first day during the ride to Ooty. Carry ample amount of water .
