If you people check out entry for the contest.. one can apply in 3 ways first with a blog, second with pictures and third with twitter. So I applied through the pictures posted my blog link on the details for the judges to check the blogging skills...

I never knew that I had to blog as you people are saying.. If it's so will try next year... any which ways, I don't get mocked down with defeats so easily... In fact it gives me the strength to fight back strongly... Thanks for suggestions Sriram and Nishant. you people are seniors here and you might be right that I don't understand the meaning of true wanderer and am not worth it, but still I will keep on trying. thanks

And Nishant if u follow the pictures carefully you will see the similarities between them and the tag line. so please check them out carefully once again and I hope you will understand... Thanks

      Nothing to De-Motivate you.

The 'content' is what Sriram / Nishant was referring to. Its not about what type you have applied for but for how it has been presented.

I'm no perfect either, Thats why i have not won the competition yet :-)

Gone are those days where I had spent time reading the travelog/blog while at work, admiring the creative photography of TW contestants.

Now, it has more or less becoming a status symbol to own a DSLR and flashy ride and calling themselves biker, tourer etc while making circles around the city till the rear pinches.

Neither your post on this thread described that you have applied for pictures nor your pictures made the talk (Frankly speaking). When chennaiites apply for the TW contest, it's a delight to go through the travelog and their desire to wander is seen through the lens. Infact TW1 was won by Praveen Selvam if you could just go through his blog/travelog might give you some idea. Two times TW Ananth, checkout his blog too. But don't say that you were mocked for TW entry, it looks like other way round.

Ananth getting selected in the top 10 riders of the country twice that shows what you are capable of... and I really respect you for that.....

Sriram I guess you got me wrong here... I never said that I am getting mocked down by tw entry... infact getting selected for it would be a dream come true for me.... let me clear it out for you people.... I meant to say that if I don't get selected this year because I didn't post the blog.. will try next year... I never knew that if u post pictures you have very less chances to get selected... later after posting the travelogue I came to know about... thanks to my friends. (Won't name him hear)... I even tried to ping you a lot of times to take suggestions about it. ... but it seems you were busy that's why you didn't reply.....

So I hope you would understand now what I tried to meant...

And regarding my pictures... I know that it not upto the mark... I am not pros like you people... just trying to learn from you and the other seniors.....

Ride to Avalanche, Nilgiris - Thank you!

Wonderful ride with the group and with few new faces. Trip was neatly planned and well executed. Kudos to our Ananth & Kartik for the arrangement. With seasoned riders and two 'True Wanderers' in the troop(Ananth and Phanikar), it got only got better. Due Deligence -> Devising the Plan -> Clarity in places to visit -> Time Management -> Execute the plan.

The ride, the stay, tailormade cooking, offcourse the bunch of motorheads, unlimited fun guaranteed.I appreciate Gopi (Mumbai xbhp) and Venkatesh Velmani for being such a good sport and sharing thoughts and ideas. Though Gopi chocked in emotion that he could hardly say anything during the entire trip, but none would forget the extra mile he went to get the dumb bird.

Thanks to the team :- Ananth, Kartik, Rajiv, Nishant, Phanikar, Sudharshan, Pintu, Venkatesh Velmani, Gopi for making this trip incident free and success.

Sorry but I never checked what way one can apply, why? Because simply I don't care. What I care is for whom I am voting for and whats the content. And frankly, I didn't find it so interesting and gave you a feedback and please read , Didn't Vote. I was hoping that you will take it on positive note rather then criticism. And I couldn't find any link to any blog.

Thanks for suggestions Sriram and Nishant. you people are seniors here and you might be right that I don't understand the meaning of true wanderer and am not worth it, but still I will keep on trying. thanks

I am not senior to anyone and I don't give suggestions to anyone for something I have no idea about, TW3 is one of them. And I am hoping you understand the true meaning of Wanderer and in case you have a doubt, Please go through the Blogs and pics of people like Praveen Selvam, Ananth, Praful, Avinash and they might help you en-lighting and give you real meaning.

And Nishant if u follow the pictures carefully you will see the similarities between them and the tag line. so please check them out carefully once again and I hope you will understand... Thanks

Mr. Wanderer, I do follow the pictures. Let me rebuild your memory and give a thing back which I noted from your 'Picture Blog'.
                      1. All photos are not connected and give no storyline.
                      2. One Pic is from your first ride (Horsly hills I guess) and other pics are some place near the beach. They asked for 'a' story of a ride, not a bunch of stories.
                      3. On one pic, you are on the bike, riding, without Riding Jacket (Read, just a t-shirt).
                      4. Last pic don't have you, nor your bike. Clearly not water marked if its your pic too.

All the very best with your contest, and please don't be judgmental and be a cry baby

I don't think that you read the tagline properly or you are doing blind argument... I think a kid studying on 10th standard will see the tag line and the pics and will understand what it means.. I guess it's not your fault.... you are to much into mocking down others and starting an argument for no reason {just to get footage}.. carry on.. i don't have time anymore to waste...

And I don't think I have to cry infront of you.. infact I have better jobs to do... thanks for the suggestion....

What a brilliant trip ! Loved the twisties and amazing roads , thanks to phanikar for showing the best routes to ride. Best part was home run with 200 Kms done on dark 2 lane highays with high beam Lorries and buses giving company all the way.
