      • Had a really nice Sunday... and a very busy one too... So got time to post now only...
Morning it was Nandi Hills, followed by the MRF Supercross and after that i had to rush home and went for "How to Train Your Dragon (3D)".

The turnout was good. We had 8 bikes and 10 bikers. It was 3 ZMR (Riyas, Jagjot & Vinayak with Ajay as pillion), 2 P200 (Akash & Sudhi), 1 RTR180 (Abhi), 1 R15 (Eric) and 1 FZ16 (Myself with my friend Prajish). Apart from Eric, Akash, Sudhi and myself, all others were new and it was their first ride with xBhp folks. I was really happy to see all of them following the group riding techniques well. The formation was awesome and no one overtook or rode harshly. Good to see Eric leading the ride.
We all had a really nice time at the top. Did some bird watching and photo sessions.
While returning back from Nandi Hills, we had two more people joining us (Danish & Aditya). And of which one was a surprise package for many of us.
After riding down, we all had breakfast together and had an intro session. It was nice to know about all the members. Sudhi had some other commitments, so he dint stop with us for breakfast. After the breakfast, on our way back to Bangalore, we maintained the speed limit as 60 (while riding towards Nandi, we were a bit fast).
We all rode together till our meeting point (Esteem Mall) and from there we split up. Myself, Eric, Akash and Jagjot headed towards the MRF event whereas the others left for home after the usual shake hands and bye byes.
I couldn't stay there for long as i had a movie plan after that.

Thanks for all who made it for the ride. It was really nice riding with you all and hope to ride again with you all soon.

totally we had 7 bike and 9 biker from Hebbal. we were waiting Akash and danish about 10 mins. Sorry Akash coz leaved u go to nandi alone
That is my first time i feel so confused and so tense.. i were a leader yesterday
I tried to keep 60-70 km/h but when i ride 6-10 kms , i saw a sunlight.. couldn't keep that speed, thought and gave to Abhii a speed up signal ( but maybe he didn't understand ) but it wasn't problem everyone were speed up behind me.
i could see 4-5 bikes behind me ( that good but when we come back Bangalore it were better - i saw all formation bike )
In this ride i used : left turn , right turn , slow down , speed up , stop , 2 line, hazard right and left signals for tried to keep formation on the way ( i can imaged we did it )
We reached Nandi 's top about 6.20 am.. had many fog and the weather were cold. After we parked our bikes, we had a good time, together :

Happy when saw a R15 with Daytona Racing Kit :

while were waiting Akash about 10-20 mins .
And then we climb on the top for see sunrise , some pics from there :

            Monkey King , lol )

            • Ride to Maddur - 16 May 2010

              Better late than never

The Kadambam thread had been quiet for sometime, when some of us felt the urge to go for a ride. We were not sure of where to head to, and finally decided on riding to the popular Maddur Cafe Coffee Day (henceforth MCCD) on a fine Sunday morning.
The venue & timings were quickly discussed and posted, and finally 7 bikes & bikers made it to the agreed meeting point by 6am.

              The lineup:
              Ninja 250R - abhirajcbi, n_aditya
              P220 - mav1234
              RTR180 - Scorcher
              R15 - hifisharu, tibby, kimikid;

At the meeting point - Rajarajeshwari Nagar Arch, Mysore Road

              Left-Right: mav1234, hifisharu, Scorcher, n_aditya

We started towards our destination at 6.15am, only to realise a few kilometers ahead that we were not riding in a proper formation. We pulled over to the side of the state highway to discuss the (staggered) riding formation, and also discussed the destination. It was mutually agreed upon that since we all started on empty stomachs, a proper breakfast would be a better option than going to MCCD. Keeping this in mind, others familiar with this stretch suggested going to Adigas, Maddur. The destination was now fixed, and we now began approaching it more earnestly.

              A shot enroute to Maddur

The weather all the way to Maddur was very pleasant as it has rained the previous night, and the sun was also not out.
n_aditya was still running-in his Ninja (upto 4k RPM), and I decided to ride with him, while the other 5 riders were quite ahead of us.
We finally reached Adigas, and the Ninja riders parked their bikes with utmost care, & skepticism. We had a hearty breakfast, and dicided to ride ahead and see if we could find a place for taking some nice snaps.
A couple of kilometers towards Mysore, we saw a CCD on the left. We decided to park there and take the snaps. Some of us also utilised this opportunity to get a feel of riding the other bikes in the group.
Needless to say, with 7 hot looking bikes & bikers (), we were at the receiving end of a lot of attention throughout the ride. The splash of green did definitely brighten up a the way, for us & others.

The bikes parked at CCD, Maddur

Left-Right: n_aditya, abhirajcb, hifisharu, tibby, kimikid, mav1234, Scorcher

hifisharu was going to ride ahead to Mysore, while the remaining 6 of us were coming back to Bangalore. We decided to stop at a CCD on the way back, as we would all be thirsty & tired (and also the fact that the original plan was to go to a CCD ) on the way back.
We stopped by at the Ramanagaram CCD, and had a nice fun time there.

We decided to split from here, as Bangalore wasn't far away, and we were all heading to different parts of the city.

Overall, it was a very nice experience to ride with n_aditya, abhirajabhi, hifisharu, & Mav1234 for the first time (I had already been on atleast 1 ride with kimikid & Scorcher in the past).

Looking forward to riding with you guys yet again!!

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

              • Finally you managed to post the report Tibby.

Mav - please post the pics from your side as well.

On that note, I was thinking of another ride on the weekend. Sat morning looks bleak so how about Sunday early morning?

I am interested in a 100km (one-way distance) ride. Any suggestions on where we could go?

Is there any nice spot on the blore-hyd road? Instead of taking a left turn to Nandi we need to continue straight. The roads are super awesome and if there is a nice place on this route we can check it out.

Would love to join in John, but very skeptical to park my Ninja in a public place. I prefer to have her in sight if I intend to stop or park for a short while. Too paranoid about people manhandling my bike.
