I am leaving tomorrow for Manipal-Udupi-Kudremukh-Sringeri-Augumbe (etc etc) and in an around these areas. It will be a 3 day trip, so if anyone is game, do let me know. If not, then I will ride SOLO...

Hey guys

Was planning to go home this weekend and due to last minute change of plans I'm back here! So wanted to know if anyone is doing any ride this Sunday. Any suggestions to which is the best road around here. I just want to ride up and get back solo if there is no one coming. Any place around 200 km from here would be fine i guess.

How i wish that I could join.. I ve been wanting to visit Kudremukh since the past few months! But I got work on Fri and Sat. Anyways good luck and ride safe. Get us some pictures of your trip.

Sounds great! But I got work tomorrow so Sunday should be fine with me. Was planning to do a bit more. Something around 400 - 500 km..

Im clueless now.. Am a bit new to Bangalore city. Thought of googling! Can you suggest something pls?

Did some googling now.. How about Yelagiri hills? It is around 65 km from Krishnagiri. A small hill. Been there 2 years back. Chennai-Yelagiri. So to and fro it will be like 320-350km approximately. The roads are good throughout.

This might be useful info if you dont know it already.
When you reach the ticket counter which is some 1.1 km away from the park. There if you take the road on the right which looks very inviting you can go all the way upto the reservoir. Its a great place. Not many people go there. Try it.
