Thanks for the heads-up Avin ! I'm planning to go early in the morning, so I don't think traffic would be an issue ! I'm thinking of reaching the place through Magadi Road (A friend of mine said the route has lots of twisties) and return through the Mysore road route after visiting Manchanabele dam and Big Banyan Tree.
Companions for the trip as well as suggestions/additions for the route are most welcome !!
Count me in for sunday morning.

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

Did that route a few months back in the exactly opposite direction!Originally posted by nisnth View PostHey Guys, I'm in a weekend mood already !!

First the banyan tree(They claim it to be a single banyan tree spread over an acre!! Worth a visit
). The views near Manchanabele dam are awesome..
But the roads are a bit steep there so ride safe. The road to Savanadurga was a bit bad! Lots of pot holes so we were forced to ride very slow! We dint climb up because we were running short of time but if you find time climb up! Looked adventurous.
Then back to Bangi via Magadi road after stopping in some dhaba after Magadi for lunch. Don't remember the name of the place though. But not so good food!

We should Savandurga in morning. A place void of trees and shade not good in afternoon. We can visit Banyan tree and Manchanabele after that and have lunch and come back.Originally posted by nisnth View PostThanks for the update Max.
