Anyways, what're the dates? Give me a tentative date (preferably with Saturday n Sunday included) and I'll let you know if I'll be given leaves or not.
date still i have to check with our BB/xBhp frnds who are already committed to join. yes we are planning sat/sun included to reduce number of leaves

so that i can get leaves i guess
the only reason i said we are planning within Feb is coz of summer , i guess it will be too hot and tiresome to ride in summer in that part of India. so want to finish within winter,
come'on its just 2 days leave

BTW ..planning to limit the team size to 5-6 ppl only for easy travelling ..as we know ..big group==difficult to manage

For guys who want another round in hills, but a bit far -
        1. Amirthi hills near Vellore (forest and falls - quite small falls though)
        2. Yelagiri hills near Krishnagiri
        3. BR hills ahead of Mysore
Well I am most probably going to Coorg on Feb 22,23,24 so the first option that you had said previously, i.e. Bylakuppe, I do not want to cover. No point going to same place two weekends in a row.

And while I don't have a problem as such for a 2 day trip in Feb (15th,16th - Sat,Sun) I would much prefer a one day trip actually. So Lepakshi sounds good, haven't been there and people say its a good place. But to be frank I prefer the hills much much more and the corners of Yelagiri are looking more interesting on google maps atleast..!!

So for a one day trip I think Lepakshi and Yelagiri seem ok according to me.

For a two day trip I was thinking about (1) Wayanad. Lots of places to see there apparently.
And (2) Bandipur as previously was being contemplated.
Third option can be a circuit around (3) B R Hills. We can do B R Hills the first day, Chamundi hills second day morning and fit in Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary somewhere in between, Ranganathittu is supposed to be pretty good, you will confirm see wild crocodiles there. Regarding Chamundi Hills, have always heard divided opinions so not sure about that.

Still a lot of time for 15,16 Feb so we can decide on possible destinations at leisure.

The 4 day trip that nagoo is talking about sounds awesome but is pretty much impossible for me, no leave.

Even moi thinks that Yelagiri/BR hills should be fun. The consensus comes to 16-17 Feb and I'm fine with it.
Regarding Nagoo's 2k kms trip, me too not sure. Currently looking for a job change and I won't be getting any leave in the notice period. Fingers crossed.

I'm game. But it'll be too far for people in south Bangalore.

Well... The airport road is quite close to me. But the new bel road/malleshwaram area seems more proximal. There's people from hsr, btm and coffee board layout! Pretty far off places no?
