So which route is preferable?

I prefer Kolar/Chittoor route on NH 4. Bangalore to Mulabagilu is an excellent 4-lane road, presently toll-free. Mulabagilu to KA-AP border: 4-laning works are in progress. Very good 2-lane road in AP with wide Mogili ghat road. The 2-lane good NH 4 continues upto Wallajah in TN, where it meets NH 46 from Krishnagiri. Undulating road surface is common from Sriperumpudur to Chennai especially near Hyundai plant.

The road from Mulabagilu to KA-AP border has some bad stretches. Also, 4-laning works are in progress. After entering AP, the 2-lane road is very good all the way upto Wallajah in TN. There is one railway level-crossing at Nangamangalam in AP just before entering TN. You have 2 CCDs near Kolar bypass, 2 at Chittoor bypass, 1 each near Kanchipuram and Sriperumpudur.

Was in Karnataka this weekend..
Spotted 4-5 White Ceebeer 1000 fully geared up riders in Hassan @ around 9 am on Saturday 25th.
Was that anybody from you guys??

2nd Instance - Spotted a Red R15 while leaving hassan today, the rider was fully geared up. Again was that anybody from you??

Probably too early to decide on those things I guess the preride will be scheduled on July 21st. Cause 14th is too early and 28th may get a bit too late. But yeah we can suggest locations now at least. Last years ride was supposed to go to Bellur Cross - 100km from Bangalore. I think that is a good destination and we can keep the same this time as well...
