I'm new to Bangalore and xbhp. Its good to see so much activity. I'm guessing there are some or the other rides every weekend.
Is this the right place to find all the rides in and around Bangalore? Planning to start off with some day trips (>300 kms return) to begin with, while I get to know people and get acquainted with riding with you guys.

P.S - Lepakshi is still in plans, I may do a longer trip too. Bangalore - Kolli hills and back. Then I'll join all on 3rd.

Kolli hills is a 300 km trip one way and is famous for its 70 hair pin bends each time while ascend and descend.

Read your query in what bike section. Hope ur doubt regarding mileage is resolved. Zmr has got the best in class mileage. Do check out the same. Waiting for you to show up in the ownership thread. Speaking od rides, you are lucky! There were no rides in Bangalore til now. Ppl are waking up now!

Actually I "may" have leave (due to some renovation in office building) on 1st march. 2nd and 3rd are weekends. Hence the plan.

Hassan to Belur Cross is sort of under construction. So there will be some deviations in lanes. Road is smooth but. Belur Cross to Bangalore is butter smooth.

Was supposed to be in coorg this weekend with my friends... in a bus though not bikes, instead am stuck here in bangalore and everyone else is gone... guess tomorrow is going to be dedicated to hunting for a 117.5 carburettor main jet.

Any ideas where I can get one? Already tried out the few shops on BEL road, almost the whole of Triveni Road. Tomorrow will go around TVS and Bajaj service centres...

No idea about the (work)shops in BEL road. But PBK/JC Road/Lalbaug is your best bet.
