snehithpereira : Where did you get the FFE painted/powder coated? I too am planning to do the same.

Even I came across a guy who said he will do it for 600-700 bucks, but I have heard powder coat doesnt last long for exhausts. Anyways, will get it done since it is rusting at few places.

Yeah powder coating definitely doesn't last long. The guy I found is going to do a heat resistant paint job, the kind done on RE exhausts

Once you get it done and if you like it, can you point me to his location? Me too found a guy who said he can do but I am a bit skeptical .

Will do. I have to speed up my fixing schedule as now its become priority no. 1. My landlord tried moving my bike from parking today and dropped it end result: broken footpeg, dented exhaust and damaged clutch lever and handle bar weights :banghead: luckily no body scratches, or atleast that I have seen yet

Woah... thats unpleasant... but seriously... your bike and you facing some troubled times huh? Just the other day there was that cop who caught you for being in speed limit...

Take care bro... Be safe, maybe a service and a fix could refresh your luck with this lately.

Vykier just hope the good times come soon , well about the previous cop situation I got it settled after s visit to rajajinagar rto.

As far as today's damaged is concerned, I just returned victorious after a major battle of words with my landlord, prize: 2k damage comp and a strict warning that he never ever touch my bike again me happy

Here comes my curses & updates, now that everyone's taking a trip on me -
@The Monk - talk about extra income, night shifts & 'clients' I forgot to mention that you are my first. Well, everyone knows what I mean!!!
Adarsh_Bk - The primary reason for disconnecting my internet was cause they realized that I do not have a fat salary to sustain it rather than NANA s meme. Sorry for 'no reply' for your query but I guess fellow mates covered up my @$$ pretty well - was hoping to see you. Some other time then.
@SuvraGanguly - please do not use sms lingo in the forum
@Vykier - We missed you and your CBR (and your hairdo)
@prajwalkashyap - Thanks for the reply - hope you can make it soon; 'would have loved to meet the person who started the thread
@gyan_recl350 - Thanks for letting me know that your salary is thinnest though I have my reservations you better show up on 22nd.
@seahorses - b!tC# please, no excuses for the next one.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ride - To begin with, the breakfast run was decided by only four of us. But thanks to the brotherhood here, eight of us ended up having breakfast at Kolar CCD/Adigas. Thank you, each and everyone for joining. Thanks bbhagawati for coming & bearing with us - the late-comings & bakars, 'appreciate the way you rode and took things during the whole ride.
@harish.krovvidi - A special thanks to you for joining us with your BUSA. I know that it must have been really difficult to hold yourself with the group since none of us had a real SBK - nice clean road & straights are really tempting especially when you have a ~1300 mill underneath you. Also, loved the way you had put your signal lights and rode alongside us, a delightful sight! On the other hand, it is worth mentioning that I felt good for the fact that we also had a BUSA amongst us when there were lotsa other bikes showing up there - HDs, CBR 954RR, CB1000R, GT 650R, N300s, FZ1 & likes. I understand your apprehensions regarding the next ride but please do join us for the subsequent rides.
@neeleshray - I had a hunch that you would show up & there you were. Sorry for being late. Next ride, briefing is on you, again!!

All the photographers, amazing captures there - It is a pleasure to have you amongst us. Keep up the good ones -

@SuvraGanguly - Thanks but I'll make sure that I carry the cam next time & click only compromising pics of yours @snehithpereira - some amazing ride clicks there & thanks for my copy as well - came out wonderful, FB DP material So good that it almost resembled FZ1 @Divya Sharan - Great vids & pics, bhai saheb!! I feel sorry for your helmet but double happy that you got yourself an SOL - doubly better than the LS2.

Everyone else, thanks for the continuous support. Seeya in the next big one. Ride details will be up soon.

BAKAR SESSION UPDATE: Fully irritated by work in the office, that too on a holiday..my mind was urging for some bakar. some time back, @chaosaddict have called me up saying he is going to come to GTA along with @snehithpereira in the evening, around 6:30pm-ish. Well, before starting from office, i called up @chaosaddict just to confirm if they were already at the venue. Mr. @chaosaddict said "kahan hai tu? abhi tak office me kya kar raha hai? hum kabse GTA pe hai malum?" and the best part was there no background noise (as if he was talking in some room)! ..an irritated mind became more irritated and i scooted out from office. Heights of anger, when on an empty road, three RX100s wheelied past me (and one of them less than an inch close to me!). I so wish i could have belted them left and right (read as @@#$@@^@#%). Anywho..reached GTA and guess what, neither @chaosaddict nor @snehithpereira were there! Called up and got to know they were not there at the first place, was elsewhere @chaosaddict 's home) doing some bakar. When we met, floods of frustrations started coming up, technically from all three of us (eventually i found out that all three of us were having terrible day), and among us, the most was from @chaosaddict. It seems his FZ1 was having some start problems (in this crisis situation and with his puny salary) he had to dump it to some mechanic (having already spent a healthy amount of money on it 2 days before--that is a different story though ), and @snehithpereira learnt in the morning that his landlord dropped his SBK, hence gifting him with a dent, a broken footpeg and a mal-behaved performance! .

Something was telling me that it would not be a funny bakar session (like the previous ones where people got stomach pains and all) and it was going to be a serious one (especially where @chaosaddict was mostly serious all the time and there were no stupid, funny jokes from his end! . We later shifted the BAKAR SESSION to Koramangala CCD hoping for some revival though. Things were looking better with coffee and sandwiches in front of us.

And there goes @chaosaddict! He started pulling out his frustrations with life again.. remembering some old days..etc etc. And we had to end the session as anyways it was getting late (10pm, a full three hours of rona dhona, where me and @snehithpereira were mere audience).

Disclaimer: @chaosaddict has hence declined to post the above BAKAR SESSION UPDATE as he is still recovering from yesterday night. I feel honored to post this on his behalf and I wish @chaosaddict gets well soon!

This reminds me of an incident happened an year ago. That fateful day I washed and polished my car (black) and left it outside. That evening when the sun went down and no street light (was broken), I saw a boy from my neighborhood scribbling on my bonnet with his finger. Later, when I went down to park it inside I realized that he indeed was scribbling but with a stone. He wrote BOOK on my f****** bonnet. Probably he was too shy too tell his father that he wants a book. I called his father and told him the story. He said, did you see with your eyes. I said yes. He said why you didn't go and stopped him. I left that place fuming .

I told myself that good he wrote only "BOOK" and not "F***". I also thought I should ask him to write "FACE" on the other side of the bonnet but I didn't because I was afraid that people might start writing "like" on the whole car

Finally, I had to go to 3M and got car-detailing done.
