@All .. Bhai log I don't have riding jacket and want to buy one (don't want to be victim of strange stares on 22nd if at all I make it. ). Budget not too high, which one you guys suggest? . Now don't pass on the thread link, don't wanna flip through hundreds of pages

Armoured jacket - one time investment... best if you go for something good that protects if not last a good while. Suggested ones are nice.

At 100s even a dragonfly that hit me packed a big punch. Now imagine bouncing pebbles, sticks, and a lot of other stuff thats found on indian roads. Forget about falling, armoured jacket needed just to feel safe and increase confidence

I've become a fan of your humble nature. You, despite owning one of the mighty hypersports, is so supportive! I totally understand your concerns. And yea, I got all your msgs and even did some digging too (my fav. pastime); sorry for not replying - the bike-related expenses have taken such a toll on my FAT Salary that I did not even have balance on my phone (everyone, please do not laugh at me, I am serious)

They are completely right and SBK jackets are 10K+ (min.). Bro, if budget is a constraint, go for Spartan Icarus, the cheapest & VFM. Do not forget to check out cramster also (personally I find it a bit dull; ref. [MENTION=61921]SuvraGanguly[/MENTION] ).

But, at the same time, most riders simply walk away after crashing out. That's the beauty of riding gear.

Also, I feel it makes me look like JAAN IBRAHIM!

@Divya Sharan - Bro, your sketch for the ride is perfect, lets crystallize things. One suggestion, since the distance is a bit, let's start early, say 5/5.30 am from meeting point B. Everybody else, please suggest meeting point A viz. silk board, FORUM, hebbal etc. And everyone's talkin' bout SBKs joining - are they xBhpians???

Well if you don't mind then I would suggest you to go down till Lets Gear Up, HSR Layout and ask for new AGV Jackets there. They are superb very light trendy and ya most important one of the finest quality and safest armours it has. Also i dont remember the name of new lot which arrived there, they are also good and ya bit cheaper one which you will love to take along everywhere, and yes I am correct everywhere like offices, outing parties and bla bla.
It will be better if I just dont point you out by names of jacket as its of no help forwarding links and pics. SO better go down there or tell me I can come along with you. Sukesh/Sapna would help you in selecting that.

Also try to have gloves too. You can go for commonly available probiker gloves, and then later on after saving some grands you can go for the good quality ones.
