As the Bangalore chapter is growing stronger day by day, we are making more brothers on the way,
so, a celebration is the call of the hour, the biker brothers ride together!

Let the good times roll! Here is the plan:

xBhp Bangalore 14th G2G Ride

xBhp Bangalore chapter will ride from Bangalore, destination Kudremukh this time, enjoy an overnight stay a midst the forest, far away from the city life. The details are as follows:

Ride Date: 13th December, 2014 (Saturday)
Ride start time: 05:00 AM
Ride end Date: 14th December, 2014 (Sunday)
Ride end time: 10:00 PM
Ride Gathering Point: Neelamangala Toll Booth (towards Neelamangala)

Ride Destination: Kudremukh National Park, Kudremukh
Hotel Details: We are currently working on booking the hotel. Watch this space for updates!

Mandatory things: All necessary Docs like DL, RC Card, Insurance papers and Emission Control Paper.
Basic Riding gears including Helmet, Armoured Jacket, Gloves, Knee guards and Elbow Guards. Same applicable for pillions also.

A word of utmost caution/importance: Please be on time.
Also please Fill up the tank a day before, before going to sleep.
Those who have ridden with us earlier are strictly instructed to be in compete riding gears, else you will be asked to continue your own ride. People joining for the first time and are not having proper riding gear they are advised to have proper helmet, a thick jacket, proper denim jeans, shoes.
No rash riding will be tolerated and everyone has to follow the group riding etiquette.

Sorry to point out, do avoid just to carry basic riding gears.

agree to this point bro! please do not plan to attend/ride with this group if you have only basic gears. This is a not a short breakfast ride, but a long ride so all proper gears are mandatory.

GTA location/landmark for first-timers: Opposite to state bank of travancore in 7th main road in BTM Layout, 2nd stage. take the road from ORR BP petrol bunk signal towards inside BTM, take the first right and keep coming till 7th main, take left and there you are.

After reading the horror stories of Bangalore RTO and Police, I am still in two minds if coming with my non KA bike would be safe or not? I do really wana join as a 1st timer for the bakkar sessions

How did you transfer the bike? If your transfer documents are a less than a month old, you can tell cops that you are here for work and leaving in a month's time. Again you have to be a bit careful and avoid checks.

It depends on where you are staying! The route from the G2G point to few areas in Bangalore are "hotspots"!

I am coming from Ashoka Pillar, Jayanagar 1st block. Should I expect any checks?

I got my bike through rail transport and sadly I dont have the documents right now

Alright. Don't take the route suggested by Google Maps (The one via Bannerghatta Road), you will find cops on the road that takes you from Bannerghatta to Lake Road.
Take the right at BTM Pertrol bunk signal > Take the first right ( right after McD) and then left at the circle.
