TVS MotoSoul 5.0 ft. Africa on Apache!

As the motorcycling culture in India began to grow, so did events based around the motorcycling community. But there is one brand that has consistently raised the bar when it comes to the growth of motorcycling culture in India- TVS. And their flagship motorcycling festival, MotoSoul, even more so. Ever since its inception, we have, in some way or another, been a part of the festival, and this year was no exception. In its fifth edition, the festival drew over 8,000 riders from around the world, all there for the same reason: the simple joy of riding and a love for motorcycles.

MotoSoul also served as the venue for the unveiling of something very special. xBhp recently took up a massive ride covering 8 African countries on a TVS Apache. The Special Collectors’ Edition of the xBhp Print Magazine covering this ride, christened Africa on Apache, was launched at MotoSoul 5.0.

All xBhp Print Magazines are made with an immense amount of effort and love, but this one has a very special place among all the past special editions. What made the occasion even more special was the fact that this year at MotoSoul, TVS was celebrating 20 Years of Apache, and the unveiling of Africa on Apache on such a momentous occasion was a matter of immense pride for us. This massive ride also enabled us to showcase the experiences that we capture through our lenses, thanks to a special gallery dedicated to photos from this ride.

Coming back to what else took place across two packed days, TVS MotoSoul 5.0 blended new motorcycle debuts, wild custom builds, rider challenges, cultural experiences and full-blown entertainment into one high-octane celebration of motorcycling culture.

Day 1

TVS kicked things off by unveiling the TVS Ronin Agonda, alongside two striking custom builds, TVS Ronin Kensai and TVS Apache RR310 Speedline. People flocked to get a look not only at the stunning custom builds but also at the Ronin Agonda. TVS also revealed their plans regarding the motorcycle as the Agonda is the first limited-edition Ronins, with this one inspired, as the name suggests, by Goa’s Agonda Beach.

Priced at INR 1,30,990 (Ex-Showroom), it is finished in a clean white-led palette with retro five-stripe graphics; the Agonda feels like an expression, but it is never loud. Instead, it makes its way into your heart with understated elegance. And seeing how we riders perceive motorcycling as a means of expression, the Ronin Agonda is a perfect manifestation of that idea.

Along with the Ronin Agonda, TVS also showcased the Apache RTX Anniversary Edition, marking 20 years of the Apache nameplate. Dressed in a classy black and champagne gold livery, complete with limited-edition badging and a commemorative 20-year crest, it stood as a tribute to TVS’ philosophy and two decades of race-bred performance.

Moving on to the custom builds, TVS had a custom zone, developed in collaboration with Smoked Garage (Indonesia), responsible for the two stunning builds mentioned earlier. TVS Ronin Kensai, the fourth in the Samurai-inspired lineage, features a floating industrial seat, upright exhaust, fully adjustable air suspension, ambient lighting and a CNC-machined triple T. In a word, it was breathtaking.

Then there was the Apache RR 310 Speedline. While the Kensai was a wild beast, the RR 310 Speedline looked like a trained assassin- pure, sharp, and focused. As the name suggests, it is built for speed, be it on straight roads or around a corner. It had slick tyres, a bespoke swingarm, full-fibre composite bodywork, and a performance exhaust: the perfect representation of TVS Racing’s racecraft!

In addition to these motorcycles, there was more action still! The RiderSphere, the jaw-dropping FMX aerial stunts, the Gymkhana challenges, Dirt and Flat Track arenas, the Adventure Zone, motocross-fit sessions, Balance Beam challenges, Barrel Push tests and stunt showcases: there was so much happening that we felt like we just might miss a few things. The day was topped off by performances from Badshah and DJ Akbar Sami.

Day 2

The second day of MotoSoul 5.0 brought about yet more surprises. First off, TVS announced the Aegis Rider Vision AR HUD Helmet, a monumental leap forward in rider safety tech. Using advanced augmented reality and spatial anchoring, the helmet projects navigation, speed, alerts and notifications directly into the rider’s line of sight, allowing the rider to keep their focus firmly on the road.

On the outside, it is as impressive a helmet as there can be. It has a carbon fibre shell and meets  ECE 22.06 and CE standards. More than that though, it is packed to the rafters with tech, and a few things that we are going to list are a binocular µOLED display, integrated action camera, OTA updates, adaptive brightness and a massive 7,000mAh battery!

After showcasing the helmet, TVS also launched the TVS Racing Offroad Training Academy, aimed at riders looking to build real-world off-road and adventure skills. Led by TVS Racing champions and international instructors, the Level 1 program focuses on fundamentals, bike control, balance, body positioning and terrain handling, making it accessible even for riders new to off-road riding.

MotoSoul 5.0 also served as the occasion of another special announcement- the partnership between TVS Racing and MT Helmets. A brand known for its rich racing heritage, coming together with one of the premier helmet manufacturers in the world, it is bound to be a hit! This collaboration is aimed at delivering performance-oriented, ECE-certified helmets starting at ₹5,999, combining TVS Racing’s performance DNA with MT’s protection expertise.

Finally, TVS also announced another special project- Safety Starts Young. Reinforcing its ‘Ride for Change’ initiative, TVS organised a children’s helmet distribution drive in Vagator, where 100 helmets were handed out to students of St. Michael’s Convent High School, a very real and meaningful step towards building early road safety awareness.

Day 2 was wrapped up with yet more action with even bigger FMX stunts, RiderSphere action and a buzzing mix of riding challenges, art installations, graffiti walls, creator interactions and community meetups. The day was brought to a close by scintillating performances by Nucleya and Lagori that kept the crowd going even towards the end!

With each passing year, MotoSoul grows not just in scale but in its delivery of the core message; motorcycling culture is not something to be showcased, it is supposed to be lived. And with TVS’ consistent focus on expanding and bringing the motorcycling community together, MotoSoul 5.0 proved to be more than just entertainment but an outward expression of what motorcycling is all about.
