KTM unveiled the updated version of the 2016 RC 390 at EICMA 2015. The bike gets the following as ‘New’ on it –
The KTM RC 390 is a great bike for riders from a varied backgrounds, from the rookie, to the skilled rider looking to have fun on the run. With its light weight and powerful engine, the RC390 is a joy to ride. Thanks to design refinements like vertically stacked gearbox shafts, the DOHC single of the KTM RC 390 is extremely compact and weighs in at only 36 kg. In the new model year, a ride-by-wire system adds even more refinement, and the new PASC slipper clutch minimizes rear wheel chatter when trail-braking sharply into corners or downshifting aggressively. In addition, there is a new exhaust system with aluminium rear silencer. Increasing the environmental credentials even further, the RC 390 will also comply with the Euro 4 emission limits for the first time in 2016. The fine trellis frame, WP suspension components, the first-rate braking system with disengageable ABS and the new, 320 mm front brake disc ensure precision, control and safety. Then there are practical innovations like larger mirrors and adjustable levers. Perfect prerequisites to show the rear lights even to some larger supersport bikes on occasion.
