Honda has launched the new 2017 edition of its moto-scooter DIO series. Powered by 109cc Honda Eco Technology (HET) engine, the new Dio is now both AHO and BS-IV compliant. The first model of DIO launched in 2002 and at present Honda says the DIO customers count is over 17.5 lakhs.
Commenting on the new Dio, Mr. Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Senior Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. The unique Equalizer in Honda’s advanced Combi Brake System (CBS) distributes braking force proportionately between front, and rear wheels simultaneously by pressing just the left lever. This results in reduced braking distance & improved balance, leading to more confident riding compared to conventional braking.
The 2017 edition of Dio comes in 5 colours. This includes 2 new colours – Vibrant Orange & Pearl Sports Yellow in addition to the 3 colours (Sports Red, Candy Jazzy Blue, and Matte Axis Gray Metallic).
The Dio 2017 is available for sale at Rs. 49,132 (Ex-showroom, Delhi).
