Our love for motorcycles and motorcycling has been the driving force behind xBhp ever since its inception. Over the nearly two decades of xBhp’s existence, we have taken up a fair few passion projects dedicated to motorcycling. The MotoVilla is one such project. More than just an accommodation, the MotoVilla is like the manifestation of what xBhp and what we are all about. We have done a detailed piece of MotoVilla that you can read about on xBhp.com but it is an ever-evolving project. And in this piece, we introduce to you the latest addition- the MotoPit.

The MotoPit as the name suggests, is a thematic naming scheme based on a rider’s pit, perhaps at a racetrack. In crude terms, it houses motorcycles, riding gears, and stuff you need to maintain your motorcycle. A place where you can not just admire your motorcycle but work on it as well. And when the road calls, you have everything in the pit to get going right out of it. That is the basic idea behind the MotoPit. It has a motorcycle, it has our riding gears, and it has what we need to keep the motorcycle running- Castrol POWER1 ULTIMATE.

Now there will be more motorcycles that’ll play their part as the showstoppers at the MotoPit ramp but for now, there’s just one- the TVS Apache RR 310. It has been a part of the xBhp Garage for a while now and we can’t be happier. As you know, xBhp Garage has been home to some of the best motorcycles available in India and the TVS Apache RR 310 easily makes the cut. And since Castrol POWER1 ULTIMATE powers it, we gave it a little visual treatment to indicate that.

We have talked a lot about the TVS Apache RR 310 in the past. We have ridden it extensively, including a 10,000 km jaunt around India. But if we have to talk about it again, albeit briefly, we’ll start with the fact that it is made in India and by an Indian manufacturer. That alone was enough for it to make the list of the motorcycles in the xBhp Garage. But then, when you look at it, there’s so much more.

It is one of the most beautiful motorcycles in its class. There are a lot of manufacturers in the class, Indian and otherwise. And yet, in terms of looks alone, the TVS Apache RR 310 can go toe to toe with any of them. Then there’s the performance. Ever since the first iteration came out, the RR 310 has been a scorcher. But with continuous efforts and improvements from TVS and TVS Racing, the latest iteration has cemented its place as one of the most thrilling.

With more than 30 horses on tap and electronics to deliver them just the way you like it, the Apache RR 310 can be tailored to suit different conditions and different riders alike. What impressed us even more than the engine are the dynamic characteristics of the TVS Apache RR 310. It is razor-sharp in the corners and rocksteady in a straight line. With the BTO enhancements from TVS, the Apache RR 310 can be transformed from a gem of a sports-tourer into a racetrack weapon.

Then there’s Castrol POWER1 ULTIMATE which has made our experience with the Apache RR 310 that much better. Ever since we got our hands on it, we have been using Castrol POWER1 ULTIMATE 15W50 for it. We have ridden it in the city dealing with traffic, on the highways cruising at a decent clip, and even on the racetrack pushing the engine to its very limits. And it excelled at all that thanks to Castrol POWER1 ULTIMATE.

Whether it is constant gear changes and frequent clutch use in the city or the pinned to-the-redline shenanigans on the racetrack, Castrol POWER1 ULTIMATE 15W50, with its Full-Synthetic 5-in-1 formula, has been up for every challenge we could throw at it. It helps the engine run cooler and smoother and keeps it protected in even the most trying weather and riding conditions. And whenever the opportunity presents itself, you can just let go and the engine responds in earnest with acceleration that is almost intoxicating; all thanks to Castrol POWER1 ULTIMATE.

So, for the reasons that you have read, we have had the TVS Apache RR 310 as the first star of the MotoPit and Castrol POWER1 ULTIMATE as the theme for it. Stay tuned for more developments in the MotoVilla and we’ll make sure that we bring to you all the updates. Till then, ride safe.
