Ducati had recently showcased the new Scrambler Icon. And now they have unveiled a trio of Scramblers at the INTERMOT 2018. They have introduced the 2019 versions of Scrambler Full Throttle, Café Racer and the Desert Sled. In the 2019 Ducati Scrambler line-up, the most distinctive update is the headlamp which now has LED DRLs.
In addition to that, the new Scramblers get, self-cancelling LED indicators, more ergonomic switchgear and also the digital console displays fuel gauge and gear position indicator. The new Scrambler range also gets Ducati Multimedia System that allows Bluetooth connectivity. When paired, the screen will show data like calls, messages and music information. Another important upgrade is the cornering ABS and a hydraulic clutch control with adjustable levers.
The 2019 Ducati Scrambler Full Throttle now gets a two tone paint. The tank also gets the two-tone black and yellow treatment. The tail section has been redesigned along with the pillion seat. The dual-exhaust muffler and a low-slung handlebar give it a look differing it from the other models.
The 2019 Ducati Scrambler Café Racer, as we feel, has always been the handsome one. Maybe our affection for Café Racers is at fault here. And the 2019 version has Silver Ice Matt graphics with a blue frame, which has been inspired by the Ducati 125GP Desmo making the bike look even more gorgeous. Other changes include new 17-inch spoke wheels and aluminium bar-end mirrors. The number 54 on the bike pays homage to Italian Grand Prix racer Bruno Spiaggiari.
The 2019 Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled now features a red frame, a new seat with colour-coordinated stitching and spoke wheels with black rims. In addition, the new Desert Sled also gets equipped with an ‘Off Road’ ride mode that allows ABS disengagement for having some fun on dirt.
All of these Scramblers are an extension of the 800cc Scrambler family. They are powered by an 803cc, air-cooled, L-twin motor producing 73hp at 8,250rpm and 67Nm of torque at 5,750rpm mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
