Honda Two Wheeler is planning to unveil a crossover scooter named ‘Navi’at Auto Expo this year aiming at creating a new segment in Indian two-wheeler space.
Honda scooters have dominated the Indian two-wheeler market single handedly and going by the success of its Activa brand, the company has planned to launch “Navi” crossover scooter as per Economic Times.
The project is codenamed as K74. The Japanese automaker teased it as a mystery two-wheeler ‘Navi’ with a new year greeting using tagline Happy Navi year. It will be a 110 cc scooter sharing various components with Activa and will porduced locally at Honda’s Manesar plant.
Honda City Adventure ADV
Earlier Honda has showcased their concept City Adventure ADV at EICMA’15 and said this concept is at very advance stage of production and is set for production in 2017. The company also denied calling it a scooter and said:
“The City Aventure Concept offers a totally new interpretation of the idea of motorcycling adventure.”
The Crossover scooters are basically combination of scooter convenience and agility of a motorcycle. Imagine yourself zipping around Indian roads on this, you stop at a red light and a guy next to you asks its a modified Scooty! Or a cross between the Adventure bike and the Activa!
