Mr. Stephen Pierer, CEO, KTM had himself mentioned that there will be
Fully faired motorcycles branded as RC in
    125, 200 & 390 engines.
Also, he mentioned that they are working on Supermoto motorcycles in all the above engine configurations.

KTM has announced a faired version of all the 3 Dukes. The 125 the 200 and the 390.

On top of this, we have spy pictures out on the Fully faired Pulsar 375.

Can anyone tell me if there is an adventure version of the Dukes coming out as well?

as for me i like them the way they are, with few tweaks: half fairing for wind protection, soft comfy seat.
Every Motorcycle has a tale to be told and there is no greater privilage in the life of a rider than to have truly understood what his Motorcycle stands to tell. Some of the greatest stories in the world are not written, they are experienced.

might be old news but D390 is launched in Singapore at 11900 Singapore Dollar, which roughly translates to 5.29L INR (1 Singapore $ = 44.42 INR)

but if you see D200 is priced at 10600 $ in Singapore. which translates to only 12% premium to D200

in Singapore D390 costs about 12% more than D200
in Europe D390 costs about 35% more than D200

            this is just my view...
but in India D390 costs about 75% more than D200 (speculating the launch price as 2.35L ex-showroom and D200 at 1.3L)

i agree that 2.35L for D390 is very cheasy but with heacy localisation, dont you think KTM is over prising D390?

            or

taking the same calculation in reverse order, D200 should be priced at 1.8L (then 2.35L becomes 30% more than 1.8L)

i still feel KTM should launch D390 at 2L OTR, wich is about 40% more than D200

Different markets have different needs and tax structures. Duke 200 ais more expensive iv Singapore as they have better tyres as well.

According to my sources, the bike will see light of day on 15th or 16th June and all doubts and speculations will be put to rest. I've been confirmed on road pricing on the range of 2.35L from the start.

Today saw a bookings open banner in the KTM showroom opposite Udupi Garden in Bangalore. I will always spend a few minutes looking at the bikes while waiting for my office cab and voila today it was. Do not know about pricings and all though.

This is exactly what happens before the launch of any new bike. Remember Yamaha R15 V2, people claiming 19 bhp, 21 bhp, and they were damn sure about it as they had secret internal agents working for them and after the launch, they just vanished into thin air.

Dude, this is nothing against you, and will be happy if your claim comes true. Just that there have been numerous such instances on Xbbp, and every time they have fallen flat.

I am just trying to put airy speculations to rest. The service head of KTM and kawasaki in a v prominent KTM probiking dealership is a close friend. Did the pre booking through him officially. He has been to the chakan plant to view and ride
the bike and simply loved it. On his word I booked even before there were any reviews on the net. He always told me a below 2.5L on road pricing and called me last week telling me launch is tentatively 15th June and pricing is below 2.5Lon road in the range of 2.35L.
I have always shared my info as I got it in the interest of clearing rumours misleading fellow xbhpians. Peace out!

There is a 'KTM Duke 390 coming soon' advertisement placed on the window of the KTM Showroom, Mangalore. Saw it today! The KTM RC8 was never displayed a the showroom. Athough, a green Ninja 300 stands proudly inside!

Just had a quick stopover at KTM East in Bombay. No new speculations that I could cook up...dealer toeing the same line- OTR price will be below 2.5 and launch is "soon" in June, but no specific date. The guy was pretty guarded with his comments as I guess they might have got a backlash for opening deliveries with the darn thing nowhere in sight!

Only one bit of tidbit- orange alloys will be std and black wheels won't be an option. Now I'll take this with a pinch of salt- If he's right the recent pics of the test bikes with black alloys might be a ploy to camouflage the bike. Am surely not a fan of those Govinda-orange wheels. Hero had earlier tried these gimmicks (red n yellow wheels) with the Xtreme, Hunk and ZMA, which I guess worked well with street Rossis. not sure if the TG of the D390 which will be informed enthusiasts would like 'em. Option of both orange n black would be apt, if they still want to get those tangerine wheels

Regarding ABS for the 200, he said the braking system is equipped to be retrofitted with ABS as the electronics were planned to accommodate it but whether Bajaj will offer a factory option will be known post the 390 launch only.
And as many will know by now, KTm/ Probiking showrroms won't display/sell Bajaj bikes, including any future new Pulsars. I spotted a 220F and Avenger sneaked away in a hidden corner of the outlet. Which means whenever that P375 comes, it will have to reside in normal Bajaj dealerships. Prodded him for news on that and got nothing. he even refused to acknowledge its existence saying Bajaj has revealed nothing to them and all spy pics on net could be fake!

Oh and before I forget, he said Metzeler rubber will be std on 390.
The man who designed the Tower of Pisa was the First Biker ever...

                                First ride impression from overdrive.

But this much was clear, the Sportec is a stiff tyre that takes a bit of getting used to in terms of reading feedback and interpreting it. But once you sync up, it has immense grip, both when upright and when leaned over to the edges
KTM have also added the one suggestion we had for the 200 from the off. Sixth gear is really tall and that allows the KTM 390 Duke to settle into a highway groove and munch miles
That a motorcycle this quick, this light, this responsive, with this kind of alert handling is likely to be priced at Rs 2.2-2.5 lakh is a no brainer for any serious motorcyclist. And Bajaj should confirm the final price and delivery schedule in the first week of June is our estimate.
