I am not part of their team but I was there when they were doing the shoot so thought of dropping my point of view here. That's all. The drag race video gave a clear picture of the Duke being faster and bring a Duke 390 any day, I will get a Ninja 300 and the distance seen in the video and the one which we drag, won't be much different.

        I just wrote it in simple English that it could have been better, which is far from criticism. Stop acting like a b***hurt. It was not for anyone in particular and no one was talking about your riding skills.

        I am not interested in knowing what you can or cannot do astride any bike. Motorbeam guys are doing their job fine and that's that. There is always room for improvement everywhere.

          I think it'll be a good idea although I'm not a party guy . But I'm not sure about the no of bikes they'll get in each lot and how many lots they'll get in a month.

          I saw one SanthoshK in team-bhp.com who has also booked in KTM Trivandrum. Is that you or DukeDey? If not whoever it is, if he's on xBhp and reading this post, please reply.

            not me. im also not a party guy. i meant about meeting other xbhpians and taking some snaps together and receiving bike in a group. dont know how many batches. so PM me when you get.

              Hey DukeDey, I have a confusion here. I'm not getting my maths right.

              Reviews say Duke 390 is >1 second faster than Ninja 300

              100 km/h = 28 m/s
              90 km/h = 25 m/s

              Assuming that the acceleration is linear ( which is not the case at all, i know) won't the Ninja be ATLEAST 20m behind the Duke?

              How come the drag races (even the one on powerdrift) show the bikes at less than 5m distance when they hit 100kmph. I just don't get it.

                Chuck it yaar. No point discussing this. The ninja is also a very potent bike and honestly if I had the moolah I would have gone for one, only for the killer looks.
                The 390 is also a really attractive bike with performance that can give a boot to the ninja but people here just don't understand. They take it very personally and are always ready to get into an argument.

                I would be in Delhi till 10th and lets see when I get my bike. Taking it together is not an option as you guys would have to wait a lot.
                After we get our respective bikes, you and legend racer can join us for the g2g's that happen most weekends around 500 metres from the ktm showroom. The place is manaveeyum.

                Keep me updated with whatever news you get via pm.

                        Me too booked from Trivandrum. Booked on the same day they announced the release of the bike. The showroom guys told me I will get the bike in October. Now, do I trust them completely? I doubt.

                        Here I am. Let me know folks, if there is any concrete info on the delivery. They keep threatening me that they will give the bike to me very soon.

                          So there are four of us now who have booked from KTM Trivandrum. Small world huh??

                              im from pathanamthitta. the last time i attended tvm g2g was at traffic awareness campaign 2013. i was in figo car as it was used as drag car at the end. check pics. i use spectacles.
