How is the reliability of the suzuki engine & smoothness does it perform same like the honda ones???

Honda trigger & gixxer which is the better pick when it comes to the factors like :-
    1)Engine refinement
    2) Engine reliability
    3) Good performance
    4) Good FE
Bro, honda trigger has nothing on gixxer apart from may be on fe. I test rode the bike last sunday and was just blown away.

Be it handling, braking, smoothness, the gixxer scores highly above the old fz n honda 150s.

It is a blue one that i test rode. If i had any more space i wld gladly buy it. The brakes are the most impressive part for me. The bike deserves a 250cc engine.

What about the vibrations bro the powerdrift rider said that there are no vibrations even at close to revv limiter is it true???

Iam getting bored with my 220 in the heavy traffic due to its linear power delivery so does it have more power than 220 in low speeds?

Buddy, nothing i have seen till date comes close the 220 in low end torque. But the torque on gixxer is great considering its a 150. I dint notice any major vibes. I rode the bike close to 8.5k rpm. The bike has almost a 2stroke like lightness to it when it comes to engine feel.

220's torque is great but the engine harshness, fatigue, vibs & heavy to ride in the slow moving traffic is what hating me but on the highways its a different story with 220.

What about the service provided by suzuki ? & cost of the spares?

Cost of spares is decent. But service had some questionable reputation. Suzuki press release said they were working on it.

So the durability of the suzukis engine is as good as honda's or yamahas what do you say regarding this?

Yes, they are very durable. From max100 to fiero. If someone has taken decent care of the bike, they last a lifetime.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155 Ridden and Reviewed

I own a GS150R for the past 3 yrs. Yesterday I took a TR of Gixxer. I was completely impressed by this bike.

                      1. Very agile
                      2. Handles very well
                      3. Ride quality is decent
                      4. Build quality is decent
                      5. Braking is excellent (if you are the one who uses the front brake most of the time, this bike is the best in your hands)
                      6. The engine configuration (Bore X Stroke) helps in producing low end torque with good throttle response. This will be a boon for city commuting
                      7. The engine is very rev happy and accelerates with proper power delivery in the RPM band
                      8. I felt the handle bar to be a little anemic. Feeling of proper grip is missing. Not a big deal, we can always use after market grips to improve this
                      9. Horn is pathetic
                      10. Head light throw is good but not excellent
                      11. Pillon will not be as comfortable as in a GS150R or Unicorn

Overall, this bike is very much VFM. With my experience with Suzuki, I would certainly suggest this bike in the 150cc.
PS: We can buy spare over the counter in any Suzuki SVC.

                        My requirements
                        1)FE

Simple ans is go for gixxer because as many members stated it has got the robust & reliable engine than the apache, more FE & smooth vibration free ride at the same time it has great performance.
As far as the looks both bikes are good looking but gixxer looks are refresh & more sporty especially tacho & dual port exhaust.

No idea about the tvs but even if they launch the new model i dont think tvs can match the quality of the suzuki in terms of NVH levels, refinement & reliablity.
