hmm in a way you are correct...but fibre parts are ok...the fin on the two sides gives the bike a fiery look.

dont be so rude man...its the best instrument cluster in any class available in the country now...it looks small because it has no covers or lights covering it.
"kiddish"...hmm the colors make it look weird...but for functionality and others its perfect...you have digital tacho in it...what else do you want.

yes the pillion seat is tiny,i agree with you...but i am sure you will see lots of young guys riding in b'lore in front everybody with hot chicks on the pillion seat...wanna bet IMO, the bike will look hot with just the rider.

sho...it compliments the bike very much...i think its a different "retro" treatment and completely goes with todays style...

15 also will be too less brother...

Tank is made up of high grade plastic, also it blends well with the rest of the bike. there are a lot of advantages with the plastic tanks
      1. If some one scratches ur tank, u can easily replace them. wont cost u a bomb
      2. If u get bored of the colour, u change the colour of the bike by chaning tank pannels, front fender and airscoops for just 1800 bucks
      3. If the tank paint fades away, replace it with new one
When u replace the tank pannel, the bike again will look as good as new one

Making zig-zags in the traffic is very easy with all the power in the lower and mid range. It is fun to ride this bike in traffic. In fact, you would start liking the traffic very much.

You can have lots of fun riding in the twisties too. 0-60 comes in just 5.5 sec and 0-80 in just 11.1 sec. The bike pulls like crazy in the lower and mid range.

A mileage of over 40 in city is very good given its performance in the lower end. One can easily get above 45 with some sane riding.

Those who are going to get this bike will sure enjoy the city traffic more than any other biker in India.

A top whack of 112 (true speed) is achieved.

Source: Road test from a famous bike magazine.

seriously 112? isnt it low for such an incredible bike?

i think the indian crowd would normally expect a 50+ mileage is what i've seen.........when i ask people who are a bit aged those who have pulsar.......

they say they choose it coz it has decent performance+50 plus mileage is what they say.........(no hard feeling.....jus a comment from a specific people, not all)

but still days move people change....i think they'll sacrifice the extra few kms mileage for the raw looks.......

Makes sense. I never thought on these lines.

George :- Nice . But I still did not like the instrument cluster. Kinda agree abt the retro look of the tail lamp, but the screws could have been better placed.

Great Pics Sunny. The FZ is one good looking bike!
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle!

May be BS type carb is the main reason for low mileage,NO CV carb why ?

to me personally yamaha research has gone right.since they want to capture the market primarily of bajaj and cartoon cbzzzzzzzz i think putting a 150cc engine is a nice decision.i think the pricing is also attractive.considering the adding cost of petrol and other headaches a 150 sounds feasible.i know u me dont think from this point of view but many others think from that way also.so there yamaha has struck nicely.
i would rather say that if i had to compromise between performance and beauty considering my age old options i would go for beauty.i still know that this bike goes above 60 and still it requires some more time than the guy on that 25th yr logo that passed me.but 90% of the time i am not racing.nor i am showing off.i am enjoying my every single ride.
this bike makes you feel that everytime you put the key inside and turn the ignition you feel that you have something different in the field of age old same same designs and cheapo mods.your bike looks good.and yes it goes above 60.

for those wanting to show off..this bike may not be for you.

                              my 2 p.

                              there are no stupid questions.

                              but there are stupid people.
