  • Ok, so I went to take a look at the bike at the showroom yesterday. It looks splendid!
The bike looks simply amazing when looked at from the front or the rear - emulates the true naked bike looks. The footpegs-seat-handlebar posture is not too comfortable however. I've been riding a Pulsar 200 for months now, and quite suddenly, the handlebars seem to high for comfort, but yeah, I could get used to it. :P

    Swiggy Mayhem!
We're trying to start an initiative where we're gathering enough photos or videos
of erratic Swiggy/Zomato/UberEats riders across all cities so we can cast a spotlight
on this issue and try and sort it out. If you video-record as you ride, or have a
dash-cam in your car, or can take SAFELY photographs of instances where these riders
are creating a nuisance by riding recklessly on the roads, PLEASE share the same with
us on the thread above. Appreciate it!

Are you getting the FZ16? When you already have a 200? Won't that mean an upgrade in terms of sex appeal and downgrade in terms of bone splitting acceleration?

                  • This is definitely a great looking bike. Wonder how it is to ride! I guess Yamaha relised that they did not belong to commter bikes anyways...Good thing they moved away from Crux and all that garbage they produced.

The clipons on the R15 are targeted to have the rider bend down giving a better weright distribution for fast cornering when you need the weight to be on the footpegs rather than the handle bar...

I think on this FZ16, the handle bars have risers and even otherwise, this type of handle bar allows for more straight riding position for comfortable long distance ride. This is where probably the bike is targeted at.

HaVe you ever seen any of the motocross bikes they are made in the same order as this .. with naked looks and this type of handle.. reason being .

This handle provides greater stability when riding in city, also the maneuvering of the bike gets easy handled.. That Means,,the controlled change in movement or direction of a moving vehicle is made easy on the road when you have a small hand held handle or steering.... now what happens is that the weight on the handle bars is increased..as a result of which the person has to just give a normal push to the vehicle's hanlde and the it automatically turns and gives a better stability to stay on the road..and in lieu to this handle the tyres of the bikes are also changed to give this handle the boost of performance on the road and the result is depicted when you try steer hard in the crowded places or want to lean when ever u get a turn..
like one of our mods from shillong does it..
When i saw him,he was actually flying parellel to the tarmac between the two cars just beside him..i still remember it..

the staright handle bars can be easily seen on street bike..those cliped ones on R15 denotes to racing instinct.these handles feels u to drive fast and as u fast u can with the right egronomics.but the straight one in such fz16 powered bikes are for commuters..this will alow you to drive as long as u can..not fast..city riding conditions supports those fz's but in case of r15 and other SBK's supports mainly super highway's or speed ways..thats the difference.but indian driving conditions mostly supports the straight bars......
