Agree with you both. When I was taking a TR for my friend back home [MENTION=59137]bajaj[/MENTION] dealership, I was riding with the dealer sitting pillion. I was going at 50-60 kmph in a straight line without swerving in and out of traffic when the moron sitting behind tells, bhaiya aap nausikhiya type gaadi kyun chala rahe hain? Zara idhar se kaatiye, zara udhar se kaatiye! I simply said I'm new to riding and I feel it's a dangerous practice. He laughed at me, but I told my friend to look at other dealership. But, most people in Bokaro have that I know it all attitude.

Leave alone RX and RD even he will be scared to hell if ridding pillion on MAX 100 with the throttled pulled in first gear. The powerband effect those idiots do not know.

Parents think that giving bikes and such shows their love for their kids, its as if our parents didn't loved us as they didn't give to our demands.

These RTO's are the most corrupted system in the whole world. Any donkey can get license. Heck if you have contacts there even your dog will get a DL without any worry.

And following girls, who doesn't like to follow them. If anyone doesn't like then he has some defects. But seriously those girls ride so dangerously that it is becoming a menace. More on that later in another post.

And man some day i will meet you heck your RD, just hear its note. Leave my brother as he will never understand what those are.

LOL I have seen the same attitude many a times. Helmets are for kids and swerving at dangerous speeds in traffic is for pros. Rightly said by @sibun that to check who is a better rider they should be invited to a track day. I have a lot of helmetless morons challenging me for a street race everyday. One idiot on a Karizma took so much pain for this. He kept overtaking me (i was returning after a tiring day at work) and turning his head behind on going ahead to provoke me. Kept on doing this for a number of times but on seeing no response got frustated. He even had the nerve to come closer and said "kya bhai gadi bhagti nahi kya"

I only said "nahi bhai karizma baap hai" and he disappeared for good

You find so many of these idiots on highways! On Monday I was riding from Lonavala to Pune when I overtook three bikes(a pulsar, karizma and avenger). Seeing me geared up and all they thought I'm trying to race, kept overtaking then slowing down for next 20 minutes. I was cruising at 100 the poor pulsar's engine was crying out for help!

I have been riding 4stroke bikes all my life and I am very young (20 yrs old)
Yet I used to work on a rx with my dad and his friends as a kid,
I learnt about pistons and engines when I was very small , I am not bragging I am simply trying to show my love gor bikes and anything eith an enginel I learnt how to ride a geared bike when I was 8 years old but it was with an elders supervision. Safety was a priority.
Now, I always had an attraction towards 2 strokes,,
Recently got to ride an rd350.... I have ridden over 1 lakh kms in all conditions in my life, yet those 500mtrs ripping an rd was the most adrenaline pumping, pants shitting moment in my life,.... you cant compare 2 strokes with 4 strokes, I dont want to stsrt a war but 2ts are always faster than 4ts, if 2ts were not banned and given developments like 4ts then today there would be 2ts faster than hayabusas,,,I love 2ts
But respect 4ts, nothing against them. They have a different purpose all together

How do you expect them to wear helmet as they have spend hours on their face, so they must show it? With the growing trend of contesting Heroines in zero size you will be surprised to see that the girls will be less wider than the seat of the scooter. So you will see that it will not look like girl riding the scoot but the other way round. Third thing is that they have only two positions of throttle, either full open or full closed and nothing in between. They will be ripping through traffic like hell and you will fear them on seeing. Moreover it help for the scoot as they have less body weight so the scoot will be pulling like no one is sitting on it.Fourth being headphones. The greatest nuisance of phone is that everyone has a music player in his hands. Now with the advent of in canal headphones outside sound are cut off. Most girls today you see will be riding with ear phone plugged in listening to music or talking with boyfriends(i think who are those boyfriends who has enough time and patience to listen to these useless talk).Its not that i do not like girls riding scoots, infact i like my sisters riding as she always accelerates gently, use dipper in night, use indicators while turning, brakes gently and even rides in between 40-60 kph. May be my riding classes have made an effect on herSome of the good effects of my suggestion are:- One of my distant cousin didn't took care of his bike and bike was not in best of health. But he on regular seeing my Joy always remaining spic and span like new, with cleaning and washing every fortnight and daily wiping with cloth, he has also started to take care of bikes a lot and now his bike runs like new.Also in my friends shop people have come to buy cheap helmets to escape police but i on demonstrating the effectiveness of good helmet they have bought significantly good and expensive helmet.Even i have advised people to change tyres on their tyre condition and they have done so.But there are many a** holes who never listen to you and the reply they give you sometimes you will think why on earth i advised him/her.Some times i used to advised my sisters friend on safety when she used to come to our house. After some time she thought that i was trying to impress her. Then and there i stopped advising as the advise was not going in the intended direction but in some other direction which i didn't like.And man the most difficult to make understand is my cousin brother, because he think is head is made of iron and his body of stainless steel. Its not his fault but his family as his mother also used to ride scoot without helmet, but one day a police patrol caught and refused to let her until and unless she gets the helmet, from that day she is wearing helmet not for safety but from police checking. Same thing has been inoculated by my cousin.Neither he nor his bunch of joker friend never wear helmet. ride bike as if riding a fighter jet.

Regarding funny behaviour, when i was road testing my rd after the rebuild, all shiny and glorious looking, I have come across many a such fools, on zma, zmr, p180, rx... U name it. All ready to test me in a race. In run in period I was bound to stay at 3-4000 rpm which is about 60-70kph. These jokers would zoom past me then slow down. Then again zoom past me trying to provoke a reaction. I have learnt not to give them any encouragement.

I agree with you on the topic of girls riding too fast. I would never dream of riding something with 10 inch wheels that fast. The problem is lack of decipline. But what can i say. Its too big a problem to tackle without a proper revolt.

I was hut by a lady scooty rider when I was Just standing on red light before zebra lines and she came from left and gently touched the front midguard of her activa to my toe. Had the legguard wouldn't came in between, things would've been a totality for me. After this she looked me like I was standing in.between a f1 racetrack and went off without even asking my wellness,
And all accidents of my life involves female gender as a crucial part.
And I am totally against female driver/rider and big time fear one going around me.

Oh! sure will some day visit you, in fact last sunday had gone to Cuttack as my uncle resides there in sector -6 of CDA. That uncle has an rx100 made in japan model which is lying for 4 years. My uncle after meeting with an accident in auto rickshaw he couldn't ride that. I have expressed the desire to restore it to factory specs and my uncle and aunt(they love me a lot) are ready to give me the bike as they know the bike cannot be in better hands than me. The bike is a very good specimen as it is of my uncle and he has all the documents. Second thing is that the engine is unopened and still on original bore. Only work required is cosmetic, painting, rims and all that. And may be a new rings and bearings and oil seals. Will bug you a lot while restoring the RX100, more on that in 2 strokes section.

And those morons trying to race you are more in number than trees on highways. I have numerous such incidents:-

1. usually on saturdays while i return, i cruise at 85-90 kph on my extreme. A moron on a CD-DELUXE comes and tries to overtake me. He overtakes me and continues but since his engine is small he couldn't maintain that and again gets back as i am steady in my speed. He does that three to four times then was lost as i rarely deviate from my cruising speed.

2. Another moron near Khurda, college was getting over and as you know how those idiots coming out of college ride back. So i had decreased my speed to 65 kph on the highway, when an Activa comes with three guys loaded on it. Of course no helmets and all. They overtook me. Man i was really saddened by the sound of the engine of the activa as three people on a summer day that activa was groaning. They overtook me and looked back and smiled at me. I let them pass, and after the toll gate when roads clear i was back to my cruising speed and left them for worse.

3. This one i had told to [MENTION=47074]Divya[/MENTION]saran already.Last monday while i was going to my work place near balugaon the road is perfectly laid so most vehicles cruise and high speed. Their was this long haul truck carrying vehicles which was most probably doing 65-70 kph. I just looked at his mirror without honking or flashing and he gave me way for passing. I have to mention here that long haul truck driver are really disciplined on highways, as i have never honked and they have given me way.
So as soon as he gave way i climbed to 80 kph and started passing him, since it was a long truck was taking some time. Then an XUV 500 approached from back, i could see him from mirror and also could hear the turbocharger whistling. I signalled him to wait as i will let him pass after overtaking. he was quite impatient and again honked and flashed light. So i downshifted to fourth and twisted the throttle, bike immediately climbed to 100 kph, so that i could overtake the truck sooner. The idiot also downshifted to lower gear as i could hear the turbo whistling increasing suddenly. I was real pissed of and how i wished that had i been on Ninja 300 or 650, would have shown who was the baap- bike or car.



And regarding that small wheel i jokingly resort to it as " same size wheel as the roti we bake in home".



Ya! they ride as the roads are theres, and why will they not feel as our system is such that even they cause an accident they will not be easily framed. But all are not like that. My sister rides so beautifully that sometimes you think that she has learnt ridden from some other country.

I'm not saying female gender cannot drive. Its just that our Indian traffic sense is soo much complex, complicated and shitty that they cannot adjust themselves with it as we do, because we put a 10-50 Times no of miles than them. There will be always exceptional cases, but I don't let my mom and my gf ride even a pep , and neither will let any female person in my family in future, except only if we Indians somehow gain traffic sense.you may Call me a patriarchal type person.
