Today I noticed Google maps navigation working on Transit mode and Walking mode. But not driving mode. My Mobile is running on ICS 4.0.3. Anybody noticed the same?Originally posted by RyderPavan View Post

To access forums you guys should try Convo (Tapatalk Client). You can view/reply all the topics of xBhp as well. Its not that great, but being FREE its really good. A must try app.

Came across this app...looks good & MAY BE faster than GLat - Glympse - Share Your Where
Good thing is it can be integrated to FB & TwitterSkill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

You will loose interest in location sharing once the novelty factor wears out on your new acquisition. The thing is, these services are power hungry and requires GPS to be on to give out your exact location. Else it just gives approx location based on cell phone tower. But it's cool though. Once even shared the link generated by Google latitude to my parents while I was traveling towards Chennai from south TN. They were really excited tracking my location and was really cool. Only thing worried me a lot was that the rate at which my phone was discharged.Originally posted by aargee View PostCame across this app...looks good & MAY BE faster than GLat - Glympse - Share Your Where

Haha...what do you think? I'll leave it ON without an inverter or what? I update my location only when refueling or taking a break during the long journeyOriginally posted by liv3ly_Rascala View PostYou will loose interest in location...which my phone was discharged
I was just sharing that app as it also has sign on to FB, Twitter, shows speed etc & seems to be better than GMAP & has affiliation to both GMAP & SkyhookSkill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

You could also try Mytracks and Maverick for recording your tracks with information such as top speed, average speed, distance covered, altitude and so on. The same can be viewed on Google Earth for android and PC. I have just started doing this and it's really exciting.Originally posted by aargee View PostHaha...what do you think? I was surfing for travel battery packs for smart phones..... Found something different like Backpacks with solar panel (Voltaic) and Goal Zero. I don't know whether they are worth the money they demand. Should solve battery problem if they do their intended purpose.

I have been using an Universal battery(5000 mAH, imported from US) for charging my phone and GPS on the go. Very effective and I have used it for my 4 days, 5 days, 6 days trips along with my Bun Burner ride(36 Hours non stop). Couldn't find the exact product on ebay now. But a similar product- Cooler Master 10Whrs Power Fort UNIVERSAL Portable Rechargeable Battery Charger | eBayOriginally posted by liv3ly_Rascala View Post

That's cool. What is your opinion on solar backpacks like the one I have mentioned. Because with one of those you can stay off the grid for very long.Originally posted by Juris View PostI have been using an Universal battery(5000 mAH, imported from US) for charging my phone and GPS on the go. Its worth the try.. Though its just a free simple client to interact with any or vBulletin based forums (like xBhp). Many advanced features will not be supported.. But just to check & post its good. Try it..!!Originally posted by aargee View PostBah!!! it's rate 1* by 134 people compared to 90 votes for 5*
