no samarth app store was available in 2007....i hav downloaded lot of stuffs from app store...i think u have not used a unlocked iPhone,,,once u unlock ur iPhone it acts the same as of Nokia's Symbian phones,,,u can install lot of stuffs,,,,,ur mentioned disadvantages r right,no FM,no file transfer,no flash,no video recording,,,but the camera of iPhone is awesum.....it can even beat a 3.2mpxl mobiles cam...i can bet on it,,,it has got immense amount of color depth in it....now the latest iPhone 3GS comes wid 3.2mpxl cam...do hav a chk wid it,,it can shoot videos too...tht too of dvd quality,,,the camera is just mindblowing..

both these mobiles are meant for business purpose.more or less thy have the same outlook....E71 has got a metal steel body with 3.15 mpxl cam and e63 has got a economy plastic body with 2 mpxl cam...E71 looks crisper than e63 due to its flashy chrome finish..both have the same processor, so thy run on same speed.the only major difference is the cam and body makeover...so u hav to decide which suits ur dad more....on my view i wud definitely recommend E71[red]

B7330 has got a lil change over B7320...internal memory has been increased from 110 to 270 mb.then the 3G connectivity has been tweaked to support up from 3.6mbps to 7.2mbps.and HSUPA has been inculded..the qwerty keyboard has been reordered to change its looks,,and finally the screen wid has been changed from 2.4 to 2.62inch..its getting released on October,,,no idea abt the price

Yes, I heard it had some app market, but never took a look, as it was a borrowed set I used, for 3-4 days... Man, the touch navigate, zoom, etc. was damn cool!

Anyway, about the camera, I was dissatisfied by details on PC. On mobile screen, they looked fine...

I had a look at the new iPhone 3GS, which costs Rs. 50,000. But, My INNOV8 @ 40k with good quality audio and excellent 8 MP Autofocus Cam looked like a great deal, despite no touchscreen... I guess its a preference matter.

Apple has done great, for the 1st set of a company. But, it has long way to go, due to competition...

@ varun: I have used an E63 quite a bit ... Also, "hitanshu" ji owns a E63 ... You can ask questions you want to ask...
Even I was considering it for my dad, but then he says 6670 is fine for him...

yeah exactly Samarth 619 when compared to innova , iPhone 3gs costs u more,,older versions had a 2mpxl cam which was not tht appealing.i agree wid u.,but the latest 3gs can capture photos equal to the capability of innova's 8mpxl.with HD quality videos..pixel doesn't matter a lot,,the amount of color and resolution matters... Iphone has few drawbacks when compared to innova,,as apple live their own way,,,even though thy r sold in millions,,,on the first day of its release apple sold 1million iphone 3gS world wide,...but on touch screen front,,,thy r way ahead .....Iphone 3GS was named as the best UI smart phone in 2009..,,

But the experience SE was awful.....no battery life,bad display software,no resale value...
I bought SE k660i for 10k and after 1yr have to sell it for just 2k

I was a NOKIA freak, 1st in my city to get 6600 and then 7610. Had tonns of symbian registered softwares.
But from the day i have moved to ASUS P535, windows is great...writing SMSs sometimes bcom a big pain on touch screen, so most of the time i prefer calling. But this is the range of those elite PDAs which have 520Mhz processor, much higher than the Iphones, it has GPS, the 2MP cam is awesome though it lags in 3g and FM...but otherwise its good.

Yes, I agree with the touch UI of Apple being the best there ever was.

But, I have been a Symbian freak

for 4-5 years, and that was the main reason behind INNOV8. The balance of having good media + Symbian.
That's the reason I don't know anything about Blackberrys, Windows Mobiles, etc... But Symbian, Hell Yeah!

6670, 3250, N91, INNOV8, are my sets owned... All Symbians!

After reading what you posted, I wish to test iphone 3gs hands-on, but unfortunately it doesn't seem possible in my city...
