yes its defintely not a looker, also I found the keys a bit cramped. But it is a phone with the latest Symbian OS and also from the latest N-Series Generation. Featurewise, its top class. A good buy for 15K, i think.

In simple words, you will listen at most half an hour ... after that, anyone would be bored... I have an N91 - I listen to music 2-3 hours, such is the quality...

btw choose i550 or W760. If you can get external Navigation GPS Chip, you may also consider N81 ...

How is the N79? It has got good reviews.

@ Aryan: N79, Great in everything except of course Music ... Only a few Nokias are good at music. For Music quality, Samsung is the way to go ... But, I like the interchangeable covers ... and their corresponding theme change ...

I have seen Nokia 5300 & liked it too. Lets see which One I pick up

My Nokia 6630 finally gave up. Its time to hunt for another mobile. I like Asus P750. It has Sirf star 3 gps chip and powerful processor also its equipped with VGA touch screen which can be activated by home brew ROM. In the same price tag N82 can be an option. % MP with xenon flash, VGA recording, non touch screen sub par gps performance.

These Asus phones won't be too good in media generally... haven't used this one although ...

If you want a total mobile King, go for Samsung INNOV8 i8510 ... Excellent in every matter, except price of course ... 8 Megapixels, DNSe Music, 16 GB Memory, etc ..

but for the value, you can have 5800 XpressMusic, coming soon ... Nokia's competitor to the iPhone ... around 15-16k rupees ...

But, list your needs clearly if you need some more suggestions (What camera, OS, How good music you need, etc.)

Considering Windows mobile ASUS is the cheapest u can find in the market (Genuine windows mobile not the china one). The only problem is the build quality is not so goood. The phones loook tooo plastic to have an appeal accordin to me.

Samsung has good win mobile phone but they r so costly tht i wish I had a 3310. The other thing is tht samsung doesnot have a resale value.

One should also chk out the two motorola win mobile phones available in the market. They are cheap, reliable & dont look pathetic. The only prob one will face is the screen size is tooo small. Ideal for email & messages but too small if one intends to read PDF's. The battery life is best in classs.

So now here the king HTC. The best win mobile phones avaiable in the market. Im using an HTC touch for more than a year now. I love it, i cannot say without my HTC. The phones from HTC are sexy, sturdy & reliable. I will recommend HTC to nyone. If someone is plannin to buy a win mobile phone now I would recommend you to wait for another 2 -3 months. HTC is commin out with 3 new models HTC Touch 3G, HTC Touch Viva & one more.

Note: Im not condidering the phone from multimedia point of view. As i use a PSP for my multimedia needs.

I am using the HTC Touch for 2 years now, couldn't have been more satisfied with the performance. The camera and the music capabilities are a different question altogether though..

not exactly .. that is a xperia competitor. windows 6.1 vs S60 v3. iphone has too many disadvantages to be called an amazing phone. it's only USP is UI and build.

I actually put on a 24 hour countdown for the n97 after reading about an upcoming phone on engadget.

Yes Mithun its a nice phone, it has Series 40 OS. It comes with an additionl body cover (i.e. Blue & Pink covers)

It has expansion slot but no card, you need to buy card separately.

The screen is mirror finish you can actually see you face in it like in a mirror
