Guys, FM Radio of Samsung Galaxy S is Mono not Stereo so is this due to a firmware bug or hardware limitation?

I think those were not genuine. There are many such duplicate philips headphones available in the market.

@All Samsung Wave S8500 users.. Route 66 navigation app is lifetime free or trial only? Also, are maps for India good and reliable?

My requirements are:
GPS with voice navigation
3.5mm audio jack
3G video calling
good video support + good audio playback
good battery never hurts
<20k
No Symbians
5 Mpix Camera

Samsung Wave is the one I have shortlisted (and found too). But I am not sure about the GPS Navigation. I dont need any other suggestions just an answer to the aforementioned query.

I already posted about the N8 2 pages back..

Anyways, I had a chat with the seller. He says the phones were only opened but never used (dont know why). 10 days of the warranty is used up. He had a total of 18 pieces last night(when 3 were sold) now 9 have been sold. He also jacked up the price a few minutes back by Rs.600 (It was 16.9k, now it is 17.5k). There are no NEW Samsung Wave S8500 available in the market, so this is the best I could find after 2 months of searching.

Anyways thanks for the info on Route66. We will be Wave brothers soon

I think there are already some Mapmyindia maps available on the Wave (Sygic if I am not wrong).. maybe I ll buy that.. costs 2k I guess.. good enough for voice navigation.

Edit: I was in fact wrong about Sygic. Ndrive is the mapping software for BADA with India Maps. Costs EUR 44.

I want a good WiFi phone with 5mp camera upto 12-15k. Please suggest . Nokia is preferable.

N79 is the way to go.
But I found N82 at Univercell.in at 14K. If it is available then it is the best buy!

does anyone know how to completely format and reinstall all the softwares on symbian phones??? i am a noob in these software fundas hence asking..

actually, my phone has been behaving wierdly these days.. it automatically connects to the internet even though i havent started any application.. and i am having very low space on the primary "nokia drive" i mean the part where the nokia software is installed on the phone..

I know that the service center can help but wanted to keep them as the last resort....

just connect it to pc suite and hit update,,,it might ask u to download a supporting software...install it and update it,,,it will take few minutes depending on ur broadband speed..

I have tried this.. but the problem is that when i got a new cell, the free space was 40 mb

after installing a souple of softwares, this has come down to 15 mb.. later i realised that i dont need most of them so uninstalled most of them.. now the space is 20 mb..

the problem is that in the application manager, the phone shows the softwares that are newly installed as only 5 mb so the problem is that where is the rest of 25 mb gone???

i suspect an virus infection also.. hence i wanted to format the cell.. the problem with update software is that the old data is stil there.. so its not helping my cause of regaining the lost space

I think Nokia X6 meets your requirements, Another option is Samsung Wave 723 (BADA)

If buying X6, buy the 8GB model, not the 16GB one. The 16GB ones are known to be problematic.

hey guys.. i need to buy a high end android.. Still confused between desire/ galaxy S /milestone XT 720.. i like the XT 720 but i am confused regarding the specifications of the phone( RAM 256 or 512

) any advice? also if anyone has any idea about the droid X coming to india?
