    Nokia just announced c2, not launched yet. It will make a good back up phone. What i liked about this set is that we can actually change one sim card without even turning off the phone.(hot swappable sim). And unlike c1 it got dual stand by too.
    Epic 4g is another galaxy s variant which is specially designed to use with sprints wimax network, and i dont think they are going to launch it here. But there is an upcoming galaxy 551 ,but its a mid range device with 3.2mp cam,querty slider, froyo(android 2.2),etc looks neat too. Price Will be around 14k.

      Windows phone7 os does have a lot of drawbacks, but for a brand new os (ver 1.0, (remember ios and anroids early versions?) it is simply great.(ms already released an update enabling copy-paste, and more such updates are on their way ,check engadget for more info) BTW.windows phones hardwares specs and UI are awesome. But have to wait and see if its going to be any serious threat to android.

      galaxy s is one of the best android phones in the country. 4inch super amoled display is awesome. but be careful,if it managed to kiss the ground and its goodbye for 4inch awesomeness .
      And wave2 its going to cost 21+k when its launched in india, with similar specs to original wave, just a 3.7 inch screen alone is not worth the extra buck it commands(and that too, just a Lcd)

      @Reaper agreed the fixed focus are never as good as the autofocus ones... but what can we do if there are no other good options in that range..

      About WinMob 7, It is an OS still in its infancy.. how many of you know which is the 1st Android Phone? (P.S.: I am using one right now and it is NOT AT ALL good.)

      @DevilPulsarian Galaxy S for GSM comes without qwerty only. And I doubt the Galaxy 551 will be priced 14k.

      As for Nexus S, it is just Gingerbread'ed Galaxy S.. similar to the arrangement between Nexus 1 and HTC Incredible where Incredible turned out with much better sales.

          ^^^ expect next month (mid jan). How much is it going to cost here? 33k?. I bet its gonna come down to 23k in no time(may be a couple of months after launch. Looks great though.

          @antz.bin , thanks for the link bro, and about c7, what i was trying to say that i wouldnt mind paying a couple of extra grands when i can have not better but the best camera on a phone(n8). Plus 16gb memory and other features.extra accessories , c7 doesnt make sense with its current pricing. But its just me.

                    A month ago, I was looking for samsung wave s8500 in delhi, searched end to end but couldnt find it anywhere as some one told me its out of stock or they have stopped its production nd blah blah..Thn from samsung's site, finally found a shop that had this phone..
                    Got it for 18K + 300 for the screen guard.

                    So happy with it..super amoled screen's clarity,contrast and sharpness is really jaw dropping, navigation is smooth and fast..hd recording is the best..can beat any phone hands down .

                        After a long four years i have upgraded to a qwerty mobile fone from a music mobile fone. Yes.Today i got the NOKIA X5(black color) for 9.4k

                        Will let you guys know about my previous mobile fones experience

                            Am sure that all the cost involved in the delivery & unlocking the phone would either make it costly than the one in india or equivalent to that in india. Moreover you wont even get warranty on it.

                              @madhav krishna -read the link bro, its unlocked version, and its from nokias online store and that will take care of warranty problem. u get additional discount of 50$ from the original online price of 449$ when u enter the discount code (code is 'noknow2010').i say its a steal.
                              The thing,is if they can afford to sell n8 at this rate in us. We can expect a similar price cut here too.(hopefully)
