Btw, you seized your block ONCE on your own account which you admitted. The new one is running fine and perfect. I have your mails and conversations as proof. Such a drift in behaviour and attitude, is really shocking!

i think this thread is losing its purpose. Guys please keep it limited to healthy discussions.
HarishK, man u are very unpredictable. At one post u are openly calling Joel's kit as cheap and on the other hand you are trying to assist others on the very same kit assembly/upkeep.
I am not saying that we should blindly accept that Joel's kit is fool proof but u cannot make a mock of it either. All we want to know the +/- of the kit. Let's keep it limited to only discussions and a healthy one.
Post questions and let Joel answer them. Simple.
And chill man. Nothing against u. The guy (Joel) has earned the fame that he has got. You have got equal and unbiased opportunity. If u feel your kit is equally good or better then please go ahead and post the positives about it. Let we readers decide which one to choose from. Anyway we won't mind if we have multiple options to choose from.
This is for others too who are questioning Joel's kit.
Peace.Contribute to the environment.

We've received 2 reports from this thread today.
@ Nirvana & Rahul: Guys, kindly forget about that member, and please talk on the topic. He's free to talk on the topic and share his help if he wants to, as long as its not against someone in particular.
@ HarishK: I've read your experience and its sad that it happened. But, I think now you don't have Joel's kit anymore. You're using some of your self sourced kits, right?
I suggest you maintain your own thread about your own kits, and increase your presence here by making good efforts. And kindly avoid criticizing other tuners repeatedly. You've been after Joel like anything for quite a long time now. There is an end to it, right?
Hopefully, you will avoid the past and move on for the future after this message.
@ Members: If you do have a problem with Joel's kit, kindly contact Joel on the e-mail first, then only post here. Because as a member I feel that, you should give Joel a fair chance to clarify the situation and correct it.
Again, I'm saying all this as a member with an opinion, not as a Mod. But still, I would love to see the thread clean.---

Reading this thread after quite a while and a lot seems to have happened in the meantime. Beneath all the technical discussions (most of which I honestly dont understand but am trying to figure out) I think the confusion stems from the question which aargee has summarized below.
Not to sound like a game show host but does anyone know if the the correct answer is 1 / 2 / 3 or 4? Or is there an option 5? I think clarity on this would help clear the air quite a bit.
Originally posted by aargee View PostI think yes, because, even after so much of discussion, things got carried away so much that, the basic point of the 165cc cylinder remains a myth!!!
Each time I go through these posts, I get different perspective that I've listed below...
1. The standard R15's 150cc cylinder is rebored here
2. The standard R15's 150cc cylinder is rebored here according to certain specification
3. The standard R15's 150cc cylinder according to certain specification is constructed abroad & imported here
4. A 165cc cylinder suitable for R15 that is already available in the market abroad & is imported here
This is only for cylinder, pistons...whew!!! I don't want to draw a permutation!!!
No one wants to address the basics but get into personal fight; it has become a multi directional fight now.
Would someone be able to clarify (or kind enough to add few more) the above points pls?

Hi guyz,
I have the raceconcepts exhaust on my r15, but its starting to rust, what to do? I am assuming the spray paint wont work on the exhuast, any other inputs?
Also, the db killer flew away...and its become too loud, car sirens get triggered in the office parking, moreover its attracting a lot of attention. Any other jugaad to curb the sound?sigpic

For the rusting FFE, I guess you can get it matt painted after scrubbing the rust with sand paper. Else, you can go in for carbon finish exhaust covers. It looks good, really.Originally posted by abhi_underdog View PostHi guyz,

For the DB Killer, ask Joel to ship you a spare. I guess you can source a spare from him at nominal charges.

Use WD40 every fortnight or 10 days. Spray it on the rusted part(preferably most of the areas of exhaust) and leave it overnight. Next morning wipe with a cloth piece. Rusting wouldn't be a problem.(Used this technique for last 12 months on Joel's FFE)Originally posted by abhi_underdog View PostHi guyz,

Thanks for the responses guys..
Yup I've asked joel for a spare but he seems to be busy these days, replies to emails very late. Any temporary arrangement?Originally posted by Divya Sharan View PostFor the rusting FFE, I guess you can get it matt painted after scrubbing the rust with sand paper. Yeah man, it flew off ! there was a sudden power surge too which was more than welcome but the sound surge is creating problems.Originally posted by Rahulbarik View Postdb killer flew away? ROFLMAO...

Ah yes...in this video if you listen to audio its pretty evident actually...shift from 1st to 2nd at 0:16...2nd to 3rd at 0:22 ...3rd to 4th at 0:25....4th to 5th at 0:30 (its muted due to the wind but a rider with a good ear can hear it) ....5th to 6th at 0:32 ...simple...this bike will go to 170kph comfortably in 6th... i'll do a video soon and clear it all up...video making is my speciality
