Congrats bro for the successful effort. I guess it will take me an R6 to outrun you + the balls to go damn fast!

Jokes apart, Kindly tell me, Why is a Dyno Run so expensive, just for one run? Is it to justify the 5 Lacs Rupees investment or is it something else that makes its running costs high?
and secondly, Is it possible that someone can make a cheaper self made Dyno, someone knowledge-blessed like you or ..? I mean, something which can measure rotational torque, and then plot it based on rpm's.

by that time the ninja 250 was already up for booking, gave it a thought, but the problem was i wanted a bike which would be more fun to ride with my biker pals. i know it feels good when every one is on a indian bike and ur on a ninja 250 or Comet but wanted something which i can ride every now and then even to the nearest chai wala and is easy on the pocket if i have a fall (God forbid "touch wood") and is fast enough when i want to rip it. Well finally it was the new P220DTSi for just 80K that was a steal. well then suddenly i came accross joel's thread (Auto Track Magzine R15 shootout) i was bumped now and i had always been a fan of joel since the V-twin fiero + i knew he's reliable and his works are reliable too so i PM'ed joel took all the details took his suggestion which bike to buy he clearly said the R15, then n there i decided that i will pimp my R15 took details from joel about when i can come and get the works done. so 25th Sep got my Yellow R15 did a 1500kms run-in and on 13th Nov i started for bangalore on my R15 2074kms from calcutta via chennai reached bangalore in 2.5days so finally my frustration was over anyways thats a different story coming back to the topic now my bike is just awesome. i weigh 80kgs and i have clocked 148kmph on my R15 well it's really hard to keep up with the RPM's because it hits the rev limiter in just no time. As for the mileage i'm getting a decent 35-40kmpl.
