This bike runs a stock ECU with just the fuelling changed and hence gets to the rev-limiter very quick. The engine needs to be really reliable since its a big-bore and hence I have opted to keep the stock ECU limiter.

My engine on the other hands revs to 12500rpm and has a valvetrain which can support upto 13000rpm. And I have all the liberty to play with its reliability since its my bike, but not when its running some 1800kms away from my town.

@bikemanic - Please post some high res pics of the exhaust.

Also for top-speed runs, please run higher air pressure like I told you.

                    • The exhaust now will have a slightly more aggressive profile. About the sticker,I will have a brand tag once I setup a few more things in place.

                      • One query friends:
"Is the exhaust installed on this R15 specially designed or its just a hollow pipe running from engine mouth to tail."
I am going to install similar type in my P150 classic, what should i look for if the exhaust needs to be designed.

                          1) There is a dedicated thread out there for these queries man we are hijacking this thread
                          2) Designing a 'proper' exhaust involves a lot of understanding in terms of the engine construction, the gas flow, the pipe length et all.... Designing a hollow pipe doesnt need a lot of science but then it can also cause more problems then it could probably have helped!

I'm sure you must have sorted these things out, but had to ask: any problems of knocking with the high comp setup and poor grade fuels? Would make it a pain to ride inside the city if the knocking exists

                              • ^ Actually if you read the list of works, you will realise that he has worked on the fuelling aspect as well... on my RTR, it runs with a different jet.. so no Knocking yet!
