Seems like Orange is the in thing.First TVS(RTR) followed by Yamaha(FZ16),HH(Extreme) and now even Suzuki coming with the orange variant.

One of the colors under-exploited i guess. Personally, I don't like it so much.

        • Bye bye UniCorn!

From the specs and the looks, I think the lead sufferer would have to be the contemporary Honda Unicorn. But, Honda has a better understanding of the market now, and I'm sure they have something up their sleeve. I think I remember reading something about the upcoming 150rr which was already launched in Malaysia..

          Fingers Crossed. !

          • ^^ +1 The Unicorn would definitely suffer the most.Even in smaller towns this bike will be a hit if the sales of the Zeus is anything to go by.The insipid Zeus/Heat did find quite a number of takers and this above-expectation-bike from Suzuki will definitely up the ante!!

            Best of luck, Suzuki!!

Btw, Is the 6 speed gearbox for real or was it a rumour??

But this bike does look different from any other bike in India.
Alloys look very similar to a Zeus.
According to me, its a cross between Pulsar and Hunk...

                • Unicorn? Pulsar? What?
The GS150R seems all set to be the leader in the sedate 150cc class (leaving out the RTR,R15,FZ etc)
A 6-speed 'box is a positive step. So are other features too. The speedometer really stands out.
I tried searching for more on the bike, but Suzuki's Indian website has no mention of the bike. Hence i started my own site for the bike at gs150r.blogspot.com

Waitin for the bike to hit the showrooms for a real look now

                  • I started to like this bike.... BTW, does anyone have higher resolution images of the brochure that was posted from Vicky's website? The ones there aren't very readable.

                        • Now, guys, pls watch the flash on the homepage and then comment how close it looks to the pulsar / Unicorn / apache....

to me it really looks like the Suzuki Gixxer bikes...

I am blown away by the design. Also, the console is probably the best on Indian bikes so far and by a good margin. Lovely bike.
