speed is same as the bike does not have enough power to pull beyond 106kmph in 6th gear...

Yes yar, I read this and he told that he hasn't performance tested it. And even though it is slow, I am pretty sure he mentioned a speed of around 100 in fourth. Two more gears left and not even 10 kmph gain!??

speed mentioned by MG should be speedo indicated and the bike has about 10%+ error at 100+ speeds...

                        • I am sure that the sixth gear is simply an overdrive which would only let u cruise with little bit of more ease....and the top speed of the bike will be achieved in the 5th gear itself...6th gear should only be an overdrive

Ya agree to it...it would be mostly touching max 120ish on the 6th gear..!!

AFAIK, GS150R has the same contact free digital speedometer system (will re-check) that works on the pulsars. It should have less error in triple digit speeds.

If magazines are to be believed, then BI stated a higher top speed. Which magazine would be closer to the truth?

But lets just see. Can't comment further without anyone proving or disproving.

                              • BI says the GSR does a top of 108kmph in the fifth gear, data about top speed in sixth has not been reported. From a biker's experience it wil raise upto 111kmph.........throttle held for 9 secs in 6th gear. The bike pulls very assuringly from 7500 to 10500 rpm and rev limiter ticks in or runs outta punk.I say that it is enough for a 149kg power commuter with very simple engine functions. It would be a crime to expect RTR outta GSR.

About Achiever,I have ridden it and it performed like an old Apache 150.I dont have test data, whatever I understood is what I just said.Lets focus on GSR.
