  • ^^^ Interesting. There are at least 2 changes that are obvious. There may be more, but only a careful examination would tell us.

    The first one being the megaphone taper, which is not present in the original FFE. Instead, (at least from what can be made out in the photograph) the original FFE seems to have a gradual tapper and a different diameter for P2 section (secondary section). This is the second change.

    From the looks of it, these are 2 completely different exhaust systems.

    Looking at these changes, there should be some change in the power characteristics vis-a-vis the old pipe. Joel, if you could comment on the same please.

    • The build quality of the new exhaust looks even better. Additing of decible killer is a blessing.

      @joel: If possible also include the modded head in the Block kit. It will save the trouble of removing and sending down the head for mod. It will be beneficial for people like me who use there bike for daily commute.

        Yeah,I too felt that itz better then the old one.Not much power then the old one still i feel it is running more freely then the old one.And yeah ,I am telling this because before this new ffe ,I was using the old one atleast for 2-3 week.Still i cant confirmly say their is bit more power.I guess Joel only can say..

              That's just the part that bolts onto the head -- don't know that it's called.

              You can see it in the pipe on the top as well where the exhaust bolts onto the head - the lower one has just slipped down, that's all

                    Oh ok. Then Ill just stick a rubber bush to the stand itself so it wont bang.

                        take precaution when you do that because most of the time when u will ride the centre stand will be in contact with the ffe and the ffe gets really hot so the rubber that you are planning to attach might melt and stick.

                            i would like to ask if the bore kit for P200 is ready?

                            i have installed a 70.5mm piston and modded camshaft at my P200 with no rev limiter cdi and head works and free flow exhaust pipe and a koso 32mm carb...

                            still in the process of fine tuning the good sprocket combination and tuning the jets of the koso carb...

                              Then you must currently be running a torquey 250cc engine..
                              Did you machine the head for another 14.1mm?

                                nope my engine displacement now is 220cc only... since i'm using pulsar 200 only...

                                nope i didn't shave my head, just ported the intake and exhaust ports...

                                still on breakin period, never tried to put the engine to its limit and topspeed yet... hope to have improvement...
