HiOriginally posted by joelkraju View PostChanged one of the xbhp members ffe glasswool
The procedure to change the glasswool
GLASSWOOL!!
Drill the existing rivet and remove it
Remove the end cap!!
Burnt glasswool :P
Removing the remaining glasswool in an easier way!
Filling glasswool
Rivets!!
Rivet machine :P
Could please tell me how much quantity of glasswool was required to refill the canister? What was the cost for the same?

Update on my FFE mileage. I am getting 38-40 kmpl city riding and that too hitting 100kmph occasionally and it not me who is doing that blame it on FFE
. from home to work back and forth its 75 km. As of now i am satisfied with FFE performance and using db killer as without it the sound is insane. The Pickup is like my bike on adrenaline shot, kicked Pulsar 220 a** in a small drag at one of the traffic signal and reaching 130 was so fast and easy then earlier, could not believe my eyes, I was wearing helmet and jacket
had to slow down due to bad road
, can't wait for big-bore. Joel i have already emailed you for the price. thank you Joel

Bro, remove the DB killer and get the full potential out of the FFE. Increases the mileage a wee bit and better performance when you need it too. Im getting around 48-52 consistently.Originally posted by bryanfuryin22 View PostUpdate on my FFE mileage. Krish I wish I could do that but cops here have gone mad out here in mumbai. they stare at me even with the db killer sound so if i remove it they will come running behind me. Recently there was crack down by them here and ppl with Harley and other super bikes were caught as exhaust sound way to high than allowed by law. 40-55 decibel is what the exhaust sound should be and without db i think it will go to 80-90 but I am happy with db killer sound a lot better than stockOriginally posted by krish2778 View PostBro, remove the DB killer and get the full potential out of the FFE. Yes with the DB it sounds btr than the stock , but real fun is without it. I do understand your concern , but i havent been stopped even once for the sound , i have gone through numerous checking and no one bothered to stop me. I just drop the revs and go past them humming.Originally posted by bryanfuryin22 View PostKrish I wish I could do that but cops here have gone mad out here in mumbai. they stare at me even with the db killer sound so if i remove it they will come running behind me. I will be soon riding it without db killer want to test the power without it. With db killer the power and response as been awesome and not to forget the attention my bike gets on the road. 99% of ppl turn around to check where that sound is coming from coz its different from anything anyone has heardOriginally posted by krish2778 View PostYes with the DB it sounds btr than the stock , but real fun is without it. . A week ago this guy on the new R15 with his friend were checking out the silencer were laughing looking at it. they thought i did not notice it and from this signal to the other signal it was around 1 km. When the signal turned green I just revved by bike and off like a rocket. That was the first time that ranting noise from FFE was so awesome it was like he was telling don't mess with me
. I reached 115 kph god knows how much time but it was very quick, they were not able to catch up. Next signal they were still staring but the laugh from thier face was gone
Happy FFEing

True true....many people do turn around to see whats making that noise(read music), and they are always surprised. I get a lot of that reaction from college. We have only a few 220's in colg and now mine stands apart , one of the main reason is the FFE. They know that im coming from quite a bit of distance itself.Originally posted by bryanfuryin22 View PostI will be soon riding it without db killer want to test the power without it. The best part is , the sound never bores you. Its always just as exciting as the first time, but though have learned to control my urge to just go throttle happy. The first few days of the ffe was pretty much living in the higher rpm ranges.
And yes, without the DB killer only you get full performance and econimy, not much difference though.
Cheers Mate

Have to see the faces of guys, who think that their rtr's and k&n are the best sounding machines in college....

RTR owners might not like it, but honestly RTRs with joel's ffe also sound the same.Originally posted by Berlin View Postwho think that their rtr's and k&n are the best sounding machines in college....

I actually meant that your statement of RTRs with (not) the best exhaust sound might be offending for RTR owners. Anyways leave itOriginally posted by Berlin View PostSo you say the ffe and stock rtr sound are almost same....?

And yes the sound of Joel's exhaust is awesome, ride it to believe it
Need to hear them side by side. But who cares about sound when its providing what we needOriginally posted by joelkraju View PostRtr with RC ffe is not that loud as it is in pulsar 220 and 200 and even r15.
