Actually who cares about how it sounds an all . It just makes the bike rev friendly!! .
I have a friend circle in my area.
With 3 rtr with race concept free flow exhaust
6 pulsar 220 with race concept free flow exhaust
1 pulsar 200 with race concept free flow exhaust
2 r15 with race concept free flow exhaust
And we meet up mostly every weekends and roam around and damn!! Should look at the faces of people around! Like what the heck is coming !!
Its one thing you should get for your bike !!
Done 10000 plus kms with the ffe and head work and loving it to the core!!!
And with the big bore the bike pulls like anything!
With all the mods done(stage 1 head work,Free flow exhaust and big bore) I get 35 plus every time even with ripping the bike most of the time(redlining)!
Done 2000 plus km with the big bore and no issues at all till now.In this 2000km I have abused the bike like anything.Redlining it mostly every day till 4th gear(Dont worry not doing it in traffic an all.When ever the stretch is empty i just redline it and the bike reaches 100 + in no time.
No engine problems till now.
Cant wait to get the further mods done

No you took it wrongly..
I didnt not mean to offense the rtr's sound, its the best sounding stock bike in market.... I just meant only few owners who just do high rev in parking area of my college to showoff...

Dont tease me. There are 3 RTRs in Delhi thread and only mine is missing the FFE. I am getting complex now

There is too much of popping sound coming from the exhaust while decelerating (continous popping until i stop or acelrate again not just 1-2 ). Is this normal? Can this be due to lean mixture or time to change the glasswool?

Also i feel the low end punch is no the same as before bike feels sluggish sometimes although mid and high end seems to be fine.

Joel can you please suggest what to do in this case?

Although Joel can better answer that but that sound is quite normal for FFE (imo)

Krish I do agree sound is not that important but atleast its gives that distinct sound which separates u from others.its human tendency to be little different. Anyways what joel has gifted us for all the indian bikes is amazing. The reason i can't stop praising him is last year after my mumbai to leh-ladakh trip my bike was mess. i had to change my chain sprocket as it was rusted no service for 3k and by bike took a hard beating from hell of a roads. In 14 days i rode my bike in all type of weather conditions. my gears shifting was messed up. my fairing with wiring inside looked crap and not to mention vibration from fairing and engine. it was still smooth bike for others but i had lost interest in my bike. i use to get it serviced thats it. it was like u have a wife n all u do is ask her to dress up n tell her to sit at home.(i know bad example). My friend and xbhp member hypergamer - kailash introduce me to ffe n after reading your and joelraju post i was hooked. i got ffe got my bike fully service including fairing n wiring done.vibration 95% less n performance is 110% more. Joelraju mentioned in earlier post he cant wait for further upgrade n the same is with me. after 30000kms got ffe soon bigbore. even going to get new tank, cowl n fairing done for my 220.will also change my hid to better one n finally some great graphic n painting n lighting will be soon done but slowly one by one..Deadly combo of beauty and beast

Once i have enough, ill go for the big bore kit too and head work together.lets hope it'll be soon.
I just clocked 45k kms on the 220. So maybe after some 50k on odo, ill get it , hopefully ill have enough by then.

Yeah man! Especially our ride to Gorai beach! Each and every bike with RC ffe..we were a real head turners!

Read joelkraju's post carefully. He has mentioned that his bike gave him 35kmpl on highways with ripping most of the time. And I had ridden his bike when the big bore was not there i.e just the bigbore and ffe. Inspite of stock bore, the bike was a torque monster. I was ripping his bike on a fairly long stretch of road sitting fully upright..and when I saw the speedo, it showed 135kmph! I was like, wtf!! So quick it was! Wanted to do more but had to slow down due to a red light signal. Just whack open the throttle on first gear. I guarantee you that your whole body will be thrown back due to the excessive torque! Whithout the big bore, that is. I am yet to ride his bike with the big bore.
