After 20k kms,had an Accident today...
Location:Riyadh,KSA GULF Bridge

Was doing around 90 kms of the Left lane and then a GMC comes bumper to bumper right behind me flashing lights like crazy...typical Saudi..i decided to shift to the right lane but since there was a car parallel in the right lane and another car behind him I had to jst speed up slightly to get ahead and then shift lane.

I shifted the lane and there was another car in front of me...after abt 4 sec's after i shifted lane the car in front of me quickly shifts to the left lane and what do i see?

A Camry dead still RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!i slammed my brakes while i was doing 80kmph,tires locked but my car went on and i turn slight towards left and i slam into him....god

What did i learn?
Go get ABS
my car is ABS equipped but its not working all the time.

due to heavy rains some how a GMC has skidded and turned 90 degrees thts what made the car i slammed into stop.

yes u r right...!!! I always expect these to be done by truck drivers, and so i drive consciously...!!!

This incident happened to my friend last friday when he was riding his bike(pulsar150 classic) way back to his home.. suddenly a &^*#&^% came at a very high speed and hit his bike.. The ongoer on the road said that he flew to a distance of atleast 15 feet. His bike went another 5 feet away from him...(HE WAS NOT WEARING ANY RIDING GEAR OR A HELMET). The pedestrians helped him and shifted him to nearest hospital.. His parents where informed about this.. When His parents came to the hospital they where informed that He was in critical condition as his intestine was cut!!! they said that operation must be performed as soon as possible!! The operation was performed and the doctors came to the conclusion that my friend was now stable.. They said that, he will not be given any food until his intestine recovers!!!
He was the best RIDER and STUNTER in our area!!! He even taught my other friends how to do wheelie's and stoppie's!!!!
This incident left me and my friends a warning... that how much good you are at riding or stunting, accidents do happen and there is a precaution to be taken,, that is to wear riding gear and helmet...

My Accident on 27th Aug. 2007

I was going to office in the morning on monday and as i was late i was speeding very fast as i had to attend a meeting, when suddenly a mahindra maxx jeep came from opposite side and came on the wrong side suddnly ...bang ...head on collision at around 90 kmph u guys can check the pics in my albums. i got 13 fractures all over my body and was bed ridden for 5 months. my doctor said i will never be able to ride a bike again in my life. but i proved everybody wrong. see i m here writing this post... anyway thats history. my bikes chassis was broken in two parts, front forks, front rims, headlamp/meter bcu assembly, tank, crash gaurd, saree gaurd etc etc were broken. total cost of revamp came to rs. 29000/= i had some very fond memories with this bike, so i got it repaired as i had insurance, still i had to pay 9000 rs from my pocket. only part which remained unhurt in the accident was the engine/gear box assembly and my left leg. so the bike was up and running in about the same time as i was ready.....i was saved as i was wearing helmet, still got a minor fracture in forehead.

Gosh, that was a ghastly accident. I remember seeing these pictures somewhere. Good to know that you recovered completely.

Damn... Thats a really bad bad accident. Good to know your doing fine now && Fully recovered....

we friends had been to vizag to get our bikes serviced and while returing from vizag to berhampur(orissa) the accident occured..my friend was over taking the truck from the right side after blowing the horn still the truck came to right side on to the bike n my friend collided into the rear wheel ..lucky was my friend as he suffered only some minor injuries but the locals thought that the guy is dead bcause it had such a impact on us(passer by), i was jst 40-50 mtrs behind my friend and i thought he is dead..the moment he hit the truck he was thrown to right side towards dthedivider and thank god he was wearing a helmet,which struck to the divider..
The locals caught the truck but the driver escaped but the helper was caught and he was totally drunk and according to him the driver was drunk and he didnt listen to horn

ya i am all fine now....helmet saved my life........

@princesirohi OMG!! looking at that wreck nobody could have thought the rider would be even alive forget get back to good health. That was ghastly Newayz great to hear that u mustered enough courage to get back on ur ride, many people cant after a major accident bcoz they lose their confidence.

hey prince was the helmet open you hit the car or did it open up on impact . i'm glad you survived and are recovering .

ya u r right...even the hospital staff, my freinds, relatives.....nobody thought i will be able to walk again....but my will power and confidence in myself....made it possible and yes with the help of my doctors and physiotherapists.


it was a studds ninja full face helmet, its front portion is openable. it was closed at the time of acident. when i hit the jeep head on.. .. the front portion broke off into pieces. so wht u see in pictures is not open but broken. later on i read in the helmet manual. its written there that the helmet front portion is made in such a way that it breaks itself to pieces and absorbs the impact......much like the crumple zone in cars, rest of the helmet remains intact. and it indeed saved my life.....

Its Hospital Time again

guys, as some of you are already aware, i had a bad crash a few years back, i have steel implants (steel rods and plates) in most of the bones (hands, legs), ...........its time i get those nasty things removed. so, 29th april is the date. i have to get admitted in sancheti hopital, pune and i will undergo an operation, to get the rods and k-wires removed from my right leg. so, guys i will be out of action, or you can say, offline for a few days following 29th.
